Fit and finish not quite right.
Needed something to double as a sitting area and a guest bed for single or couples. This fit the bill and at a decent price. Looks nice. Has a few issues though. The pieces had a few scratches, an exposed staple, and the finish was damaged in one area upon unboxing (see picture). Thankfully all of these are in areas where they really aren't seen once assembled. The listing didn't really say what size mattresses to use, so we bought it and crossed our fingers that the mattresses we already had would fit... They are 8" mattresses and you really have to lift the main bed frame off the ground to fit the pullout underneath with a mattress on it. The biggest issue we had is the pullout doesn't fit into the main bed frame correctly (see picture). The front main support is almost 1" too short for the pullout to fit correctly, which makes it stick out a few inches in front. It's not a big enough deal for us to disassemble, pack it all back up, and return, but it is frustrating that we just paid that much money for something that is flawed. We are trying to figure out a way to modify the frame so it works correctly.

Good product for price
What I like most about this product is that it can be assembled into a king bed when in use and a twin when not in use. This helps me use my space efficiently. I got the bed that hides the extra mattress under it (it looks like drawers but it's not). The mattress used are 4 inch depth, I could not find 5 inch ones that were at a reasonable price (6in would probably rub according to other reviews). The bed is not very tall (which didn't matter to me). The trundle that stores the extra mattress has freely rolling wheels (not on a track) which at times you have to carefully roll under for it to align perfectly under the bed. Which also make not be flush with the bed frame if you push too far inward. The bed does have many pieces to it but is easy to assemble and comes with directions that are pretty straight forward.

Perfect Idea, poor execution
We bought this for our sons room since he has his cousin nap here often. And have had to use it twice already for a make shift guest room. The idea of the trundle is great, but unfortunately it just isn’t there conceptually. The whole thing is a nightmare to put together, although I knew that it would be that way for the price that it is. After putting it all together a twin mattress doesn’t actually fit on the top by itself. There is about 3-4 inch gap where the mattress doesn’t fill in. Then when pulled out to make it into a king, an added twin also doesn’t fit. You have to turn both mattress to fit correctly, which is just annoying. Then the bottom mattress has to be like 4 inches to fit Under the bed with our and kind of bedding other than a sheet. It’s hard because for the price and the idea that I could make it into a king bed plus a pull out twin is exactly what I want. But man it’s hard to wrap my mind around keeping it for all the cons* oh it’s also extremely sharp on all the edges. My kids have lotsss of scratches from it already, so just beware.I don’t think I would buy it again, but I also didn’t think the effort to dismantle it is worth returning it either. So here’s to just being aware!

Excellent extendable bed!
For starters, the packaging was sturdy and the parts were very well-packaged. Nothing was broken. All of the parts were labeled and matched the instructions. The hardware was also well-labeled. Assembly took approximately 3 hours because of all of the slats that have to be individually screwed in. Blisters galore but so worth it for such a sleek looking bed that can be a twin, a king, or a twin with a trundle bed.We used 6" mattresses from Walmart. The one on the trundle does rub when being pushed in, but anything less than 6" would not be comfortable to sleep on.The pull-out bed part does not go in flush with the main bed so a twin mattress is too narrow exposing the slats on either side. We are going to fix that with a mattress extender.Overall, very pleased with the purchase and with the functionality and form of the bed.
