Outstanding!!!
I have never bought and received a better quality piece of furniture for the price I paid for this. The top, the shelf, the drawer, and the legs are all solid and very well put together. If you want rustic design, solid construction, and overall beauty, this is the end table to buy.

Quality piece of furniture.
This is the third piece of furniture I've gotten by Montana Woodworks. It looks great, is well-built and sturdy, and matches my other pieces perfectly.

Nice built furniture but QC/Customer Service issues
I bought two of these. They looked very nice, but I started seeing what looked like sawdust under the corner. I would vacuum it up, but it would return. Then I pushed on the wood, and it caved in a little which seemed similar to termite damage, but they leave little pellets. I notified Amazon, but they said it was past the 90 days for returns. I notified the manufacturer, and they told me they do not fumigate the wood. They said "just get some Raid". The infestation is some sort of woodworm? Since the infestation in the nightstand I noticed originally, I now have found the same bugs in the matching dresser. This furniture was not cheap. I am totally disgusted by this reply I received from the company. Their advertised warranty was good, but BEWARE, they don't stand behind their products the way a quality American company should. This problem happened in less than 6 months after purchase; for the higher cost of American harvested and made furniture I just expected better overall quality/service than that you would expect from cheap China products. See below the original email trail I copied and pasted for your review.Hi Kathleen,I’m sorry about the bugs! We do not treat the wood. There are rare occasional problems with bug since the wood is harvested in northwest Montana and we don’t have many of those kind of bugs here. The way to treat your nightstand is with raid bug spray over the infested area. That usually takes care of the problem.Best regards!Solomon WengerdCustomer Service SpecialistMontana Woodworks, Inc.888.889.3728[...]From: Kathleen Paz [mailto:[email protected]]Sent: Sunday, January 24, 2016 7:56 AMTo: [email protected]: warrantyGood Morning,I had purchased several pieces of furniture from you (Glacier Country). I sent back two three drawer nightstands because they were damaged in shipping. I decided to buy the one drawer version from Amazon because they would be lighter, and not get so much damage. I received them at the end of July. A couple of months ago, I noticed powder on the floor. I thought maybe one had gotten nicked, or something. I kept vacuuming it up, but more would appear. I started researching this, and came to the conclusion that the nightstand has a powderpost/wordworm infestation. I knew this was different from the older marks that are polyurethaned over. These new marks have no polyurethane on them. These bugs did not get in there from my house, they were already contained in the furniture when I got them. Do you not thoroughly fumigate all your materials? Since these holes appear to come out from there ; I am afraid that the adults have emerged, and will infest the beautiful bed and triple dresser I got from you. Reading about this, it appears the larva emerge as adults through these holes. So what can be done about this?Thank you,Kathleen Paz
