Son loves this! Autistic child with sensory need thinks this is fab because it moves and the baby ducks follow the mother with quacking sounds. He loves resealing and opening the eggs and the symmetrical layout of the nest makes him happy.

Kids delighted with this, was the star of the show at Christmas. Would make a great Easter toy too. Only downside is way too much plastic packaging, absolutely no need for the square plastic cage around the duck.

My 4 year old loves toys especially ones with a surprise element to them and this didn't disappoint. The whole packaging is brilliant as each egg pops out the nest which delighted my little girl. She loved hatching each egg to find her surprises. Mama Duck is so soft and very cute with her waddling and duck sounds (needs x3 AAA batteries). Her little ducklings connect to their mama and eachother magnetically to waddle along. Very impressed with this toy, really good quality, brings so much happiness (as you can see in my pics) and it makes the perfect gift! Definitely recommend!

This is a good quality product and fun for small children. I do think that it is unfair to have photos depicting four ducklings including a golden one but then have the possibly of only 2 or 3 ducklings and golden egg being rare. I think this is reasonable in a total mystery product where that is the central premise, but in this case my daughter researched what toy she wanted to spend her money on and spent a long time looking at photos so was disappointed when it arrived not as expected. I know the writing does mention you may get 2, 3 or 4 ducklings but this is not the impression given from the images. We did also once have the hamster one as a present with a similar result as the baby hamster she really wanted wasn't included.

I bought the Pets Alive Mama Duck thinking it would be a cute little extra gift. Oh, how wrong I was. This wasn’t just a fun toy, it was a life-changing, toddler-distracting, quacking phenomenon. The moment my niece saw it, every other present became irrelevant. Fancy toys? Ignored. Thoughtful gifts? Forgotten. This waddling, quacking overlord became her new obsession. Best part? I don’t have to live with it. My brother is now forced to listen to endless quacking on repeat as his child carries it everywhere like some kind of feathery idol. Final verdict? 5 stars from the toddler, 10 stars for mildly tormenting my brother, 4 stars for the fact the baby ducks don’t magnetise very well and 1 egg only has a sticker in.

Thus item does not work as it should. It waddled fir 3 seconds completely on its side then stops. The magnet will not hold contact with its baby ducks. It's not string enough.

Bought for a Christmas present, my nephew absolutely loved this. He loves ducks. The only thing I would say is it would be nice if it wasn’t marketed for little girls, boys can like this stuff too.
