I knew it was a pile of ... and it is, but it will do.
I knew this is the Gerstner “International”, Overseas manufacturing and it is pretty bad. The drawersof the smaller boxes that on top of this piece don’t have any stops so they will fall out it fully pull them. The casters are unnecessarily big, the screws that fasten to the base strip if you apply a ten year old's strength. The side table had a huge blow out along the entire edge. It seems that they are throwing these in the air in the factor from one workbench to another. The tongue and groove joints look loose. I could have built a better one if I had time. I guess I am lucky that it stays together as one piece. We will see if very light wear and tear by my wife over time will make it fall apart.

I bought a three piece set.
Its a beautiful set thats very good quality. It should last forever for my knives and some personal items.I was concerned about the quality of the shipping boxes when I ordered them but I was pleasantlysurprised to see how well and how good of job they did packing them.

Was better than expected. Surely not a "a Gerstner" but on point for the price.Shipping was timely as well.

Lacking Quality Control
The chest is made in China. That alone isn’t a deal breaker and some decent products come from China. However, the assembly was rather sloppy on the one they sent me. Greatness must not put a lot of quality control in the International line. Or, at least, the one I got didn’t get an acceptable inspection. Trim pieces at the bottom were not flush to the box, but glued with gaps in place. Screws were loose with some haphazardly installed at an angle so that only one side of the screw head made contact. The Threaded inserts for the wheels were loose, installed at an angle, and required extra work to repair. The inside drawer liners were dirty and spotted with what looks like oil and dirty fingers. The drawer slides, ALL of them, We’re not installed square to the box itself. This cost a lot rubbing as you pull the drawers out. Each one required adjustment. The “cheap” knock offs from China seem to be every bit as well built as this one. In all it Took about an hour and a half in my shop to repaire the issues with the box itself.
