Nostalgia Best Tasting Premium 8-Ounce Popcorn, Oil & Seasoning Salt All-In-One Packs - 24 Count (Pack of 2)

Bottom line - I like the popcorn, ease of use, and flavor. I've tried two different popcorn packs for our popcorn popper. Previously I dabbled in using my own coconut oil for popcorn, but the delicious flavor of artificial butter wasn't really there. I have tried this and another popcorn and it's worlds of difference, and I won't be going back willingly. I love the ease of use of squeezing an unnatural yellow goo into the popcorn maker and watching it melt into a shimmering golden pool of oil before I add the popcorn and salt. The corn seems to pop up well every time and not leave behind many kernels. The only drawback to these pre-measured packs is that they give you enough salt to satisfy even the most extreme salt-loving tastes (like my son). For me adding the entire pack's worth is too much, and there's not a great way to measure how much to put in. It's a small gripe, and admittedly I haven't done anything to try to lessen it - I keep dumping the entire amount in. I only notice in the 'salt mouth' I get after eating a couple servings and the amount of sodium flavor crystals left behind to clean up before popping a new batch. Other than that, it's a great value, it's super simple to use, and it's fun and fast to make. I'll buy again when I run out.

I have the nostalgia popcorn maker (highly recommend that especially if you have children) so I bought the 4oz size of popcorn and it was the perfect amount for our machine. Pro : Popcorn is delicious, just like movie theater popcorn. It taste and looks just like it as well, especially if you are like us and add extra melted butter to it. All of this kernels popped perfectly. The seasoning salt wasn’t to salty or overpowering, which instead it was the perfect amount. I was concerned it’d be to salty for our liking. Con : I dislike that it is all one package, makes it a little difficult to pour into machine. HOWEVER there is enough room between each section to actually cut them apart. Which you can see in the above photo. I will actually take the time to cut and separate all of them and put them in their own little bins. It’s worth the extra time. Overall I recommend this popcorn.

I'm quite happy with this popcorn. After we bought our 2.5oz All American Popcorn Maker, I was disappointed with over-the-counter oils, butters and toppings that promised "movie flavor" but didn't deliver. Nothing I'd popped before was even as good as microwave popcorn. Being already accustomed to disappointment I didn't expect much when I bought this Nostalgia popcorn set. But I've been pleasantly surprised with this product. Unlike other reviews, I had no leaky/messy oil bags. Although the popcorn itself isn't quite as fresh as over-the-counter, it has a yellow season which adds a lot to the flavor. I usually like salty popcorn, but I don't need to add any salt to this. The oil is a bit thicker than others I've tried, and much more aromatic making the whole house smell like good popcorn. It leaves the popcorn with a yellow color like movie corn. Although it is harder to clean off my popcorn maker, I think it's a good trade-off. The set is listed as 2.5oz portions, which would have been perfect for my 2.5oz popcorn machine. But in fact these are 5oz packages. Since we usually make 2 batches, this is a minor issue. I'm not sure if I received the wrong size, or if they are advertised incorrectly? Bottom line is that this was a good purchase.

This popcorn is my family’s favorite! It pops well and leaves very few kernels unpopped. If you put the whole packet of salt in, it is VERY salty, but we just add half the packet and it’s perfect. I like that it uses coconut oil as a healthier option than some other oils. Great value for your money! We have bought this over and over again!

The oil/butter flavoring tastes and smells rancid! The popcorn is ok and the salt is good! I’m not pleased as I was so excited for its arrival
