Good quality
Used once with 20 out of the 40 lb option. Glad that I did not get the 60 lb vest. I did the Stairclimber one mile then treadmill for two at 10° (I am 70 yrs old). I love it. Shoulders comfortable. Material seems strong, proportionate to the weight it loads. Cast iron weights are a little too snug and need to be wiggled out when weight was adjusted (it comes loaded) but I got it done. I am exploring rucking as an alternative to distance running as I age. This may work for me.

Great Vest
So I wasn’t sure when I got this, but I love it. You can adjust the weight, it goes on easy and has good padding for the shoulders. I use it everyday on my walks and it enhances my workout. It is made well and is good quality for the money.

Great vest not recommended for use whole rowing
Great product, front side panel did begin to rip after a few uses (walking) doesn't seem to affect the ability to use it .

Solid weight bars easy to adjust
I chose this weighted vest because it was one of few that did not use iron sand pouches. The iron sand pouches in most weighted vests evidently give off toxic smelling fumes that make the vests unusable for many. Users also report the iron sand pouches are difficult to remove and tuck back in. This vest gets a 5 star rating for it's solid iron weights. I was able to easily remove them to adjust location and total weight! For that reason alone I would buy this vest again. For the weights. However, I may end up piling these weights into my old bicycling backpack. First, the waist belt on this vest was impossible to assemble. I'm still not sure I got it right. There is a vague instruction included with a dark photo of how the waist belt looks and no detailed explanation re: how to assemble it. There are miles of velcro on this waist strap included, had to fold it three times so I had this thick belt kind of makeshift belt riding just under my ribcage. The whole thing is a bit short, doesn't go down to my waist. I am 5' 6" and weigh 112 lbs. The nylon adjustable"waist" nylon band with plastic clasp, as reported by other reviewers, slides out of place in a minute. I will have to add some kind of tape or pin to keep it secured. My other concern is the narrow neck opening. I have a skinny neck and small sloping shoulders. After my first walk, with only a few weights, the vest cut into my neck/trapezius muscles. I don't know how this works on a man with a normal sized neck. The neck opening is kind of small digging in with weight close to the neck. So, I'm a little leary about what happens when I add more weight. The vest is well constructed, with quality canvas type fabric. I'm going to try to adjust and work with it. Still glad I purchased it.

The only weighted vest you need
Super easy to use and fits both myself and my wife. More comfortable than other weighted vests I’ve used and has the ability to add and remove weights. Velcro is strong and the vest is built to last.

Works well.
Works well. I like that the weight can be adjusted in 2.5 pound increments. It is important to know to start out with low weight because it takes time to build up your shoulders and back. If you are thinking about your legs only you will wake up the next morning with very sore shoulders and maybe back issues. I like to wear it while doing chores around the house. It is a relief to take the thing off.

Well-made, comfortable weight vest
This vest is very well-made and the individual 2 1/2 pound weights are easy to add and remove as desired. It has a large clip on each side of the vest to secure front of vest to back of vest via a belt. The belt is fully adjustable and there’s a padded piece underneath the belt so that it doesn’t dig into your skin while you’re walking. I am 6 foot two and getting my head through the neck. Hole of the vest usually requires me turning it slightly to the side so that it clears more comfortably. But once it’s on, it’s very comfortable. The first few times I wore it and tried to walk my usual distance, I was whooped by the time I got back. And I started at 20 pound weight. Although I weighed 40 pounds more at one point in my life, I was amazed at how fatiguing just having 20 pounds of weight in the vest was while walking. It makes it hard for me to believe that I weighed the full 40 pounds more, which is the maximum capacity of this fest. Overall a good buy and well-made. Very happy.
