Damascus Steel.....
While it's not as large as I'd like, it is truly beautiful. This is my personal, and I love it.Well Balanced, very sharp, beautifully craftedUpdate: it's would appear that the item (though kept sheathed in a controlled environment is prone to rust quite easily leading me to believe that perhaps this was made from steel cable with high iron contentRather than folded steel as true Damascus should be.

Pretty, but mostly useless.
Beautiful knife, bold Damascus pattern, even a mosaic pin. Stunning in appearance. Uncomfortable to wield, poorly balanced, and not very sharp. More of a wall hanger than anything else.

Perfect gift
This is a beautiful knife with amazing craftsmanship. It is heavier than I thought it would be and very sharp. The sheath is high quality leather.

Great blade
Beautiful blade, maintains sharp edge well. Nice handle, hardy leather sheath. The whole piece is both artistic and practical. Real happy with it.Will put some oil on it right away, to prevent rusting.

Nice quality, but arrived with rust on hilt
The blade and sheath quality of this knife are very good! Would have given 5 stars but the rings within the decorative part of the hilt seemed to have corroded and arrived with rust present on them. This was disappointing to find as I got this as a Christmas gift for my fiancé. Everything else about the knife he loved and the blade itself is in great quality, but I was very disappointed to see there was any rust present on a new knife. He said he can probably clean up the corrosion, but would appreciate a replacement without any corrosion if possible.
