Almost too effective!
I bought this for my female pit bull after she under went surgery to fix a torn ligament in one of her hind legs.It turns out, they purposely cut one her leg bones, turned it 90 degrees and put a metal plate and screws to replace where the bone was cut and to keep the new position of the newly positioned cut bone. I don’t really understand how or why the needed to break her bone, but she is no longer in pain and can walk/run again, so I’m happy with the end result. That’s were this supplement comes in. I bought it to in hopes that it would help her bones heal faster.I don’t know if it really did speed up recovery, but the vet did seem surprised at how quickly her bones healed up in the post-op x-rays.I kept giving her the supplement but I had to reduce her dosage from 2 treats per day to just 1 a week. If I give her any more than that, then her nails start to grow like crazy and they start making a ton of noise with every step she takes in non-carpeted floors and I have to constantly file her nails down, which she isn’t a huge fan of.I highly recommend this supplement if your dog recently had a broken bone or if you want your dog to have healthy hair, skin and nails, just don’t over do it or you’ll hear the a louder than usual “click-it-tee” sounds with every step they take on hard floors.

A great part of my cat's recovery plan
My 14 year old kitty recently had surgery to rule out joint cancer, which involved cutting into a swelling in her elbow joint. She was diagnosed with severe arthritis in both of her elbows, to the point that joint fluid was leaking from one of them. She is on several joint supplements along with a prescription pain reliever but was still struggling with limping and unable to jump up on the bed. I have noticed an improvement in my own joint pain when I added collagen and had heard it was a good help in healing from surgery so I figured it was worth a try for her. I saw a definite improvement within 3 weeks of adding 1/2 a tablet of this product to her breakfast daily. She still walks with a limp but is more active and will jump on the stove and table (still wants a lift onto the bed but I think that's more an attention thing!) and her appetite is better. She also takes it with no trouble, I just break the 1/2 tablet into smaller pieces and add it to her canned food. I'm considering adding this supplement to both my senior dogs' regimen as well. My only complaint is that the tablets are not scored for an even break into 1/2 tablets, so maybe that could be changed in the future to make it easier for cats and small dogs. Otherwise, highly recommend!

My dog’s fur is so soft again!!!
I have a boxer and I noticed that she was starting to be stiff in her back legs when running. I researched different supplements and decided to take a chance on this one. I also bought a simple pill crusher at the same time. So simple. She is about 60 lbs so I decided to use 1-1/2 tablets and crush them. So for dinner every evening I put a scoop of food in her dish and add a little water. I then sprinkle the crushed tablets over the top of her food and she goes nuts. She thinks it is a treat every night and LOVES her dinner. Her coat has gotten so soft again and she definitely has less stiffness in her back legs. I think it might also be helping her sensitive boxer digestive system. She is a happy girl!

It's working!
My dog had an ACL operation and after that her coat went all wooly and shed constantly. I purchased this with the Omega-3 supplement. It's been several months and her coat is looking much better and shedding is back to a normal rate. At first she wasn't crazy about just eating these things, but I slip them in as treats and she gobbles them right down. At first, I put them in her dog food and they went down no problem. She is a 50 lb. dog and according to the directions she was right at the border as to the dosage. I started her on 2 of each of the supplements at the same time... MISTAKE, she got the scoots really bad so I stopped and reintroduced the product gradually and she's not had a problem. I give 1 supplement in the AM and the other in the PM.

Support really is supportive!
My breeder recommended this for my new puppy, so I gave it a shot. He’s almost a year old now and as he’s grown I have noticed a big difference in his growth and coat development from the Belgian Shepherds I’ve had in the past. Really, really wish I’d known about these sooner! And he loves the taste, he thinks he’s getting puppy candy when I give him his daily tablet. His ears stood up sooner and had greater strength, his legs and joints seem stronger and he hasn’t been as clumsy as some puppies I’ve had. And as a side benefit his coat is amazingly glossy and silky. I waited a couple months from date of purchase to make the initial review just to see if I noticed a difference and have to say, he’s developing beautifully and I think this supplement will always be on my shelf. Really pleased.

Meh
Not sure how well it is working. It doesn't crush easily and does not dissolve very well. Per instruction, my cat only requires half a tablet. No way she will eat half a tablet without me crushing it up and putting it in her food. So, I would do that, and it would just float on the top of her wet food that I mix water with ( because she is an elderly cat). Anyway, I will probably go back to Flexadin since it's easier to work with hiding in a picky elderly cat's food.Edit: I never used the rest if these after trying a few times :(. Maybe a larger animal where you can hide the pills in a treat or something? Also, it is very possible my cat is just very particular :)

It works with my 13 year old dog with him problems
I bought this for my 13 year old dog with him problems. After years of jumping 9 feet in the air, he could barely get up. After 4 weeks I have noticed a difference in his steps and walking. He really doesn't get up like an old man anymore. He can lift himself way better now. He is more than 50lbs and I only give him one a day. He doesn't chew it. I crush and mix in with his food. Yes this does work, you need to give it a few weeks. Just like humans, vitamins and supplements take a few weeks to work. I wish this stuff can reverse the aging process, but it's giving my 13 year old ROCKY a little hope.
