A Fire in the Flesh is a rollercoaster of emotions. The pacing of this book is quite different to the previous books in this series, and while it's mainly somewhat slow, it allows the reader to learn more of the inner workings of some of the main characters. In this book we see a true villain - the best I have read in some time - one that you can't help but loathe.While the main plot point was predictable, this book still had me on edge, completely hooked, and crying at times. It's heart-breakingly emotional!For those who seek a comment on the spice-factor of this book, I can honestly say that this book contains now one of my all-time favourite romantic/intimate scenes.➡️ 4.5 stars
