The doll house
This is a very beautiful dollhouse my fiance loves it I would buy another one and I've referred people to buy also. The only downside is it don't have instructions to put it together.

It is what it is
No step by step instructions, but I enjoyed putting pieces together. If you enjoy puzzles, you won't mind figuring out what pieces go together. Thin cheap wood, but good for the prices.

Good price for small dollhouse furniture.
Perfect for a small dollhouse. They pop out easily and fit together well. One note, instructions are small so I enlarged them and wrote numbers by each piece for construction. Very cute pieces of furnitureFun to make.

Poor quality
Many of the pieces weren't cut through, and some break when removed. The items aren't marked so it's difficult to figure out which pieces make up each piece of furniture. I sanded, glued and painted mine, and then they're just okay. Children would be challenged.

The furniture is okay...
First off, this kit is made of birch, and because it's dye-cut rather than laser-cut, it splinters more and is sometimes not cut all the way through. When you get to a piece that isn't cut all the way through, don't force it - it might break - use an X-acto or craft knife to cut the part that isn't cut through. The tabs often don't meet the slots at the tops and bottoms, and in those cases, you have three choices - you can glue just the edges, use very thick glue to try and fill the empty space or fill the space with glue-soaked cotton or something to hold everything together. This furniture set doesn't come in a box - it's got plastic wrap over the stacked wooden sheets. Because of this, several pieces were damaged - although you could still use them, but there were definite issues that I removed a point for. I can see where it would be possible to have a few pieces damaged beyond repair, although that did not happen in my case.As with any dollhouse, furniture or puzzle kit of this type, building each item without glue first will give you an idea of if there are any issues. Always have your craft knife, some sandpaper, a pencil at hand, and maybe some blue tape. I used Modpodge with some pieces and Ailene's with others. Both seem to do fine. One other issue is with the instruction sheet, which shows you images of the pieces and numbers, which shows you which tabs go to which slots. The writing and drawings are pretty tiny, it would have been nice if it were twice as large and with the numbers for each item next to a picture of each item, but the pictures are on one side, the drawings of the parts are on the other side. You could photograph and print one side, then put it next to the original so you could see the pics of the completed items and the numbers for the parts that go to them side by side.Btw, I strongly recommend that you press out only the pieces for one piece of furniture at a time. That way, pieces can't get mixed up.To be honest, I bought this furniture kit because it should be the same scale as the NWFashion Gothic house, which I actually bought first. I hear it's a 1:20 scale, which is not a standard scale, so I wanted furniture made for the house so it doesn't look too big or too small. I'm still working on the furniture - pressing out pieces for each piece of furniture, sanding, priming and painting, then gluing.
