Being familiar with, and loving, wild mulberries I wanted to try this as a flavoring for foods. The product is manufactured as a fine powder, in part probably due to them using juice rather than the full berry. It dissolves decently well, but might take a bit of mixing. The flavor isn't as strong as I had expected as I had assumed potentially more concentration due to desiccated juice. However, because of the lovely darker color, this might work well as a natural food dye. I especially like the organic certification as berries tend to be one of the higher carriers of pesticides. I wish they had noted where these were sourced. I plan to work it into a pancake syrup and potentially an ice cream flavor. Overall, a decent product. At the present price of $23.70 for a one-pound bag, I feel that price is reasonable considering the amount of mulberries that were necessary to produce one pound of dry product from the juice.

This is easy to dissolve into a drink, smoothie, or yogurt. It tastes like mulberries and has a wonderful plum color.

I been putting a scoop into my smoothie, great to enhance color and flavor, as well as nutrition. It doesn’t tasted like much but give that berry smoothie a nice boost. A bag goes a long way.

This is my first time trying any brand of mulberry juice powder, so I don’t have a reference point for reviewing it. I have tried other fruit powders that were bursting with flavor and were therefore easy to review. This one is not as easy. The flavor is extremely mild, almost undetectable. This may very well be typical of mulberry juice powder; I just don’t know. Mulberries have a long list of medicinal qualities and would be worth consuming regardless of how potent the flavor is. What I could taste was a nice flavor that did remind me of mulberries I had eaten when I was a child.Something the seller can definitely improve on is the bag they use. The inside of the bag smells like nail polish remover. I removed an ample amount of the powder and sealed it in a small container and returned a little while later to open and smell. The powder itself is not what has the off smell. It Is the inner lining of the bag. Also, the zipper style closure doesn’t work. I kept trying for a long time and it just is not well made.
