If you have ever been tempted to use the material mesh to put across a door opening to keep the bugs out, you know that it works until you start going in and out the door and soon the material will rip.This product is far superior to that cloth mesh. It has strength to it, so can cope with being either stretched across a window or used to create a door cover. I have sewn a trim and zips to the mesh, easy enough to do with a home sewing machine and have then attached to the doorway of my campervan. So now I can have the sliding door open and keep the bugs out and still get in and out without having to worry about tearing the material.Mesh is nice and fine, so will hopefully keep out those pesky mozzies!

It's tough enough to keep bugs out, but thin enough you can cut it with ordinary scissors. I didn't actually order it for bugs. I ordered it because I like putting this sort of mesh in the bottom of my planters. It's great for letting excess water out, while keeping the dirt in. I've used this sort of thing in the past and it usually lasts me for years. I'd be surprised if this doesn't do exactly the same.

This is a good quality, cuttable insect mesh which is designed for use in a screen frame (not supplied obviously). You can purchase screen frame kits online or just use magnetic or velcro strips to hold in place.I am using this mesh on my upstairs windows to stop my cat trying to exit that way. I only just managed to grab him as he was half way out the window and have kept my windows shut ever since. He's not a smart cat.I have attached these with velcro strips for the time being although I do like the idea of purchasing a proper screen frame kit as this will be a permanent fixture for the foreseeable future. This mesh is great quality, nice and strong and keeps the cat in, the insects out and allows me to have fresh air flowing through my bedrooms. It's a good purchase which is fairly priced.

Large and wide section of quite fine-mesh insect screen.Living next to a field, it was able to keep out both midges and flies on the hot days and the muck-spreading days without issue.Easy to cut to size and enough to cover a complete doorway, with no chances of even the little ones cutting through.Sturdy enough not to wear or allow holes to be easily poked through it and even small sections have come in handy over holes and vents to prevent insect ingress.Good quality and value

Picked this up to stop my 8 pound idiot cat falling face first out the window in the summer, and so far it seems to be working okay.It doesn’t come with any methods of fixture, but I used nails to fix it to the frame and that seems to be working so far. It was really easy to cut to size with regular kitchen scissors.Overall it’s decent. I’d say if you’re looking for something really sturdy, then look for one with all the fixings with it, but this is a good quick fix.

They are basically identical to what is on the online advert.The mesh comes folded. The holes of the mesh are tiny, so it should stop the flying insects like midges getting into the house through the open window at night. The mesh feels like it is made from flexible plastic (although it is fiberglass). It can be cut easily with a normal pair of scissors, does not fray, and although flexible it has rigidity so it is easy to mount. So much better than the fabric screen mesh you can get that stretches and is difficult to mount.The instructions are a little confusing, and I am convinced this mesh is actually a supplement or spare for a purpose built screen.The instructions state -1 - Remove the window screen spline.Apparently, spline is a type of vinyl cording that fixes the screening material into the frame. This did not come with anything other than the mesh.2- Put the new window screen mesh over the frame.Does this mean window frame, or am I supposed to have a proper screen frame?3 - Roll your new mesh into the frame with the rolling tool.What rolling tool?4 - Trim the mesh.The mesh screen did not come with any other materials, such as rolling tool or spline, so I have no way (at the moment) of adhering this to my window frame. I need to find a method that will not damage the window frame or look unsightly.This is good, durable mesh but is does not come with any mounting materials. This is more suited as a replacement mesh when you already have a purpose built window fly screen. Unless you are happy to adhere it with low tack tape.At the time of this review the mesh was £9.99 with a 20% discount, making it £7.99. I think that is reasonable, as you get a good amount.

This is so easy to put up as you can follow the line of the squares to keep a straight edge when cutting to fit. These are really good quality in that these won't just fall apart if you keep removing them etc and they stay up nice & straight too which looks nice. I used some sticky back velcro (the rough side) in the corners & mid sections of the windows and it seems to keep them hanging nicely, I have added some non sticky soft side velcro to some of them too to make it all a little more secure and left 1 corner so that it's easy to shut my windows.

Alors, la moustiquaire arrive pliée, mais elle ne garde absolument pas les plis. C'est une excellente matière et j'en sûre très contente. Cela dit, je suis moins convaincue par le velcro que j'ai acheté avec afin de fixer le tout. Il va falloir que je trouve une autre solution.

Sinceramente estoy sorprendido que por el precio reducido que tiene te den 2.5 metros de tela de mosquitera y de tan buena calidad cuando la mayoría de anuncios son de 80 cm o 1.5 metros en este rango de precios.Yo necesitaba cambiar la vieja mosquitera y esta tela me viene genial pues como se puede ver en las fotos, al cortarla me han salido dos trozos del tamaño de mi ventana, así que tengo uno de recambio para dentro de unos años!La instalación ha sido bien sencilla, solo hay que tomar medidas dejando unos cm de más de margen, cortar, e ir metiendo poco a poco la goma en el rail del marco (la goma no está incluida).Yo cogí el color gris y me preocupaba un poco que fuera a quitar demasiada luz, pero nada más lejos de la realidad, no se nota en absoluto.
