Love this jacket
Love this jacket. I'm 6'-1" and normally wear a size large for a trim fit. As suggested in other reviews I stepped up the size to XL when I ordered. The fit is perfect. Most rain jackets have no style at all. The Tingley Bomber II is an exception. This is a really cool-looking jacket with good design and tailoring. The stand up collar is especially good-looking -- and functional. The integral hood stows in the collar, but I leave it out so I can flip it up easily in the rain. I have worn this jacket in heavy rain with the hood up, and it is totally waterproof. I don't need an umbrella. Most rain jackets are something you want to take off as soon as possible. I hate to take this one off because I like the way it looks. It really is high-visibility too, with lots of bright, reflective strips. For you motorcyclists out there, be aware that this jacket is not tailored for riding. It's warm and high-vis, but the sleeves are not set forward like a riding jacket, the bottom isn't long enough to keep from exposing your lower back to the weather, and the fit at the torso is not snug enough to resist flapping somewhat in the air stream as you ride. Bottom line for non-motorcycle use: If you want a warm, high-visibility, great-looking rain jacket that is a very good value for the price, this is the one!

You need this jacket!!!
I bought one of these to walk in due to the high visibility. I was amazed at the quality for the money that these jackets provide. So much so that I also bought one for my wife. They are very well made and warm to weather in the 40's so far with just a light sweatshirt underneath. Great reflective properties all around and a nice fit at the cuffs and waist. I always buy a size up in jackets like these to layer with and the XL fit me perfectly. I'm 5'8" and 185 lbs. I've worn it in the rain and kept perfectly dry. I also think that this is a perfect jacket to keep in the car for both rain and emergencies. I don't know how they do it for $42 but it is one of the best purchases I have made on Amazon.

Great for price.
So far so good. Size is a little tight but that goes with you dont want a loose fitted jacket on the job. Material feels good, liner od the jacket is similar to the "flannel button up work shirts" with the diamond sticthing.Has 5 pockets outside, 3 inside. Elastic waist and wrists.Outside materical feels good, strong. Even the hood, which rolls away in the to the collar.Wanna talk about reflective? These jackets are bright, like super high vis bright, the reflective H is great too.All in all i would say its a damn good jacket for the price. Ill update once I beat it up a little.

Great for HiVis outdoor work.
Very nice jacket. I would call it a "three season" jacket, as far as warmth. I'm usually a size Large, but based on other reviews, I got the XL. Glad I did, because its a great fit, and I still have enough room to wear a thick hoody to use this in freezing temps. Highly recommend. UPDATE: I would now recommend this jacket for full-on winter freezing temps. I work for the Transportation Dept.,outside, and this jacket is actually too warm to wear while working unless it is below freezing. It really holds the body heat in. Of course, you could leave it open/partially zipped... or just don't work so hard!!! Seriously, this is a great work jacket, and repels water just fine. At this price, I won't wash it, just replace it every winter with a new one.

Delivers on the all-weather promise
I wanted this jacket to fit a little large in the chest and it did. I plan on wearing it in the winter when I'm wearing bulky clothes, so there is room for a sweatshirt underneath. Also, I ride an electric skateboard with this as my warning to cars and I only feel safe on the road when I'm wearing this, it's hard to miss! I've worn it when I'm just in my yard in the rain because it's the best all-weather jacket I've ever owned. Comfortable, incredibly warm, just a great product for a better price.

Hi visibility, warmth and rainproof...
The jacket fits well. I'm 6 ft. and 200 lbs. I got an XL. If you want to wear another coat under it, it may be too snug. Definitely is warm and rainproof. I wear it to ride my bicycle to and from work on cold rainy days. Keeps me dry and warm and visible. The quality is good and you can't beat the price.

Great Jacket
This jacket is great. My company supplied us with the convertable high vis coats with the removeable fleece liner. They are heavy, bulky, uncomfortable and not all that warm. The Tingley Bomber II jacket is a lighter jacket better for milder weather. It breaks the wind very well and is comfortable to wear. I'm 6' 210lbs and the XL fits like a glove! If you have to wear class 3 pse you know that struggling to get that vest over your jacket or coat is frustrating to say the least. Considering that a good class 3 surveyors vest is $25 this jacket is a great buy at $40.

Does the job, needs some pocket improvements.
Visibility, radio/mic loops and quilting are top notch. However, the hand pockets don't have a velcro or zipper closure and the radio pocket isn't deep enough for a standard size radio. My HT 1000 falls out if I bend over too far and the velcro closure doesn't reach over the top. Be careful wearing this in summer rain storms, it holds the heat really well and if you confuse sweat for rain, you'll be dehydrated on no time. I would have returned this for a better model if I didn't need it immediately.Update 1/2016- the sleeves are a little long and this is helpful in the colder temps, as they will slide over your gloves to prevent bare skin from contact with the air.

Good price/quality balance
It's a decent medium duty, light winter jacket. As mentioned, up your size at least one level and I probably should have gone two sizes larger. It's shorter too and rides up easily. Rain-proof with decent warmth, say comfy in 0 to -10C without a sweater. The quilted liner makes it easier to layer without messing with the sleeves. It grabs and shows the dirt but seems to wash-up nice so far. My biggest beef is with the elastic wrist cuffs. These are so tight that I need to take my watch off when I wear it.

Up your usual size
Considering the price of the jacket I didnt expect it to be warm considering how thin it was but the overall quality was good. I work outside all day in the elements and boy was I wrong. This jacket kept me so warm and cozy all I wore was a t shirt and a sweater then the jacket.I upped my size from a meaduim to a large still found it a bit small and it would ride up when you raise your arms. So I went for a extra large and it fit perfectly it's weird because I'm 5,7 180 lbs so I thought that the large would work when I knew I was going to wear something underneath. The jacket keeps your body heat in as it is non breathable so if your doing really physical labour your going to sweat.Still overall the jacket is really good in my opinion and it does does what its supposed to do and with the price you can't go wrong.

Not either bit warm
Looked at the reviews, and thought it was a little warm — but not .More like a real good rain jacket
