Organic Stevia In The Raw, 22.57 Ounce

I was very happy to find organic stevia and single serve packets. Yes, these packets contain a very small amount of real sugar. I think the sugar is used because stevia powder would be difficult to get out the packet without a little additional bulk. I prefer natural sugar than some other synthetic product. If that's a concern for you, buy something else. It's a small enough amount to be considered zero calorie. Taste is similar to other stevia products. And the volume pricing is good.

I’ve researched sugar replacement products, while using the green packets of Stevia in the Raw have read the dextrose is not recommended. I’ve switched to the organic packets, I have to use more for my coffee but it tastes better on not only my coffee , it’s great on plain Greek yogurt ! No calories.

I'm diabetic, so need to use a sugar substitute to keep my glucose lower. This stevia product leaves a very slight aftertaste, as expected from a sugar substitute. It is the best tasting that I have found thus far. I have used a different sugar substitute for years; however, I don't like that it is both stevia (non-organic) and xylitol mixed. I appreciate the fact that this product is organic. I would prefer that the Stevia be only from USA sources. I would really like to see The RAW family provide a sugar substitute with organic Stevia and organic raw sugar (USA sourced). Overall, this will be my new go-to for a sugar substitute for coffee, tea and other foods I consume that need a sweeter taste. I would also like to see this product available in a larger, bulk quantity (e.g., container - not in packets).

Typically, I use the green packet of Stevia in the Raw, which is powdery. This is the first time I ordered the organic Stevia in the raw, and I found it to be gritty as though the packets have been exposed to moisture, so it was a little more difficult to get the substance out of the packets. However, the taste was the same, and it’s possible that this is how the organic one is.

It looks like stevia has done another packaging change. The 800 count box I currently have is white and the little packets are white, and expires in August 2028. This box is yellowish and the packets are light yellow, and it expires in November 2028. The barcodes are exactly the same, and the ingredients are exactly the same - stevia and pure cane sugar. Our personal opinion: we prefer this mix to the ones with dextrose or etheritol for health reasons. Sugar isn't your enemy, just the over consumption of sugar, while dextrose and etheritol are both proven to be harmful to your health.
