Worked great, not too hard of an install
The media could not be loaded. 2 YEAR UPDATE 6/10/2021: Still working great, no issues, and I put down the convertible top about 10-20 times a month. These are a great replacement for my old cylinders that were leaking ATF fluid. I had just refilled the motor about 3 months ago, and the top already quit working on me! I removed the rear interior panels to find that there was a lot of fluid coming out of the 20 year old cylinders (2000 Mustang GT convertible). These were a perfect replacement. I used the CJPonyParts Youtube video that shows how to replace them, and it took about 4-5 hours for me (inexperienced at this sort of thing, you may be able to do it quicker!). These are indeed a little bit wider and they don't move the top up/down quite as fast, but I'm perfectly ok with that, as I feel like these may be more sturdy or perhaps put less stress on the old convertible motor. ONE gripe I do have with these is that you have to reuse the old plastic bushings from the pistons of the old cylinders you are replacing - there is no good reason why they don't have new plastic bushings at the end of the piston, and they were a pain to remove from the old and put onto the new... but in the end I don't think that is enough to remove a star. Still a great product from what I can tell. I'll update this review if I ever have any trouble with them, but so far I'm very pleased! The video I posted shows the new cylinders working nice and smooth after installation.PS - when you remove the lines from the old cylinders, be sure to have a lot of napkins and a cup around so you can drain fluid into - just because the cylinders aren't opening or closing the top anymore doesn't mean there isn't a whole lot of fluid in them still! I made a mess on the first cylinder I replaced, not realizing just how much fluid was in the old cylinder.

High quality must do upgrade
The only cylinder to buy if yours give out or you just want a more powerful upgrade. They go a little slow but you can feel and hear the difference in these units. The quality is all there and I feel this will result in less wear on the motor long term. Highly recommend these cylinders only. Easy 2 hour install for me.

So far so good didn't have any problem installing the new units they work just fine , just a hassle with removing the inside parts to get to the cylinders , My only complaint is having to use the original bushings The company should include the bushing with the cylinders, they offer them as separate item ? It would be nice if they told me when I purchased instead of a note in the box,

Nice Quality
These replaced the failed rams in my Mustang's convertible top. They were somewhat larger in diameter than the stock rams, but fit fine in the installation area. So far, they have worked properly and actually smoother at moving the top than the originals were. Very pleased with the purchase, and would recommend them to anyone replacing their Mustang convertible top rams.

Bigger than OEM and yes, very slow but they work well.
bigger and Slowwwww but they work. Wish I had a bigger pump.Removal and install is pretty self explanatory. Getting the upper ring to line up with the hole in the roof is kinda a trick without a second person to run the pump. Its important to run the pump up and down several times with the cap off the pump, add more oil, let air out etc. Keep something lightly over the hole or you will get a face full if it bubbles. Yes it is crazy slow going up but then the pistons are about twice the size of the oem ones so more oil.

Buy this one. All others are junk. I learned the hard way
It, and worked as it should. Don't buy the cheap ones. You will be sorry. They were worth the price

Works great on my 2000 Mustang
Work great on my 2000 Mustang. Very slightly slower than the OEM, but with great power. Fit is perfect. Install took me 3 hours (as usual would take 1/2 the time if I did it again). No leaks. Bleeding was easy.
