I got the shade Line Leader and I have to say it's one of the best lip liners I've purchased. The shade is very close to my own shade but this is creamy, long-lasting and pretty much bullet proof! Even after my lipstick wears off, I can still see the liner on my lips. Perfect neutral shade and in a liner that needs to be sharpened, this is absolutely one of the best - for not a whole lot of $$!

This is the best lip liner that I have found for the price. It is a beautiful color and it glides on nice and smooth while staying in place for a good amount of time. I would say it’s a good alternative to the make up forever in anywhere caffeine.

These creamy lip liners are wonderful. So far, I have three-Big Lift, Line Leader and On It. Big Lift is a pinky brown with a hint of mauve, Line Leader seems to be a fan favorite as a dupe for Pillow Talk but to me it is just a pink liner that I wish was just a shade darker, and On It is a true cool toned brown (side note-I apparently don't look good in cool toned brown). The pictures Maybelline provided are not accurate in my opinion and reviews I have read say that the darker ones are much darker than anticipated so keep that in mind. The liner itself is so creamy that if you press too hard, it will fall apart but I love that once it sets, it sets. This is a great one for blending and creating an ombre effect. Lipliners that require sharpening are my favorite and everyone keeps complaining about sharpening plastic but I haven't had an issue at all. I do wish that I could have a nice sharp point but you can't apply enough pressure for that nice skinny line I like to start with because of how creamy it is. There is no smell or taste that I can tell. And one thing I love about sharpening ones is that they last longer. These aren't the tallest lip liners but they are long enough to last a long time. They are so worth the $8 I paid for each one and I plan on getting more as I want darker shades and I have all the lightest ones. I apply Big Lift with Petal Lifter gloss and it is my favorite current combo but when I touch up I use On It to just add a little darker line. I think these are by far the best liners I have used from the drugstore-they have hyaluronic acid so your lips are moisturized, they have staying power, they are affordable and they have a beautiful shade range. Honestly, I could go on and on, I love them that much. I just wish they were a little less creamy. Give it a try. You won't regret it.

Love the smoothness. It glides on easily. Great color, long lasting but it wears down quickly.

excellent price, easy to go on stays put well, my lipstick doesn't bleed through it to my wrinkles. nice color. I like Maybelline products in general, this is a nice everyday color that you can wear with many other medium to light shade of lipstick, I don't wear neutrals such as browns well at all, or purples, I'm more into warm pinks and peaches, this is a nice color that works well for me. It doesn't scream pink and make you blink :)

Great color stays long time . It's awful to sharpen. Waste to much.breaks alot. But love the stay power. Good color.

I saw this lipliner on buzzfeed under "great drugstore cosmetics for under $10" or something like that. It is really great. It is soft enough so that you can get a thick or thin outline depending on how hard you push. You can use it to fill in on your lips and it leave a nice, long-lasting matte finish. Only possible drawback: you have to sharpen often so I can see that it is going to go faster than the other lipliners I have tried. But it's cheap, and good, so it's worth it. Great colors.

I do really like the color and the ease of application BUT I will say the staying power just isn’t there for me. I feel like I have to reapply fairly often. It does make a nice full lip product if you use on an entire lip but I bought for a liner so I’m not totally sold on this product.
