Works great
Needed a little plumbers tape for a couple of the connections, but it works perfectly.

Does its job
It works pretty well and is easy to use. Like others said the valve is very tricky to use because its a little stiff.

Does not work
Does not work at all. The pump does not bring up the water. Had no issue with the valve but it just doesn't bring up water. Also does not hook on a tank with a rim it only hooks on the side if you have a rimless tank.

Works great!
It works if the source of water is higher than where it's going. The knob was a little difficult to get it to exactly drip one drop a second, but once it's set, you can leave it forever. I wasn't able to disconnect the airline hose, but I could connect aquarium co-op's airline hose directly to the source side to extend it.

Works in a pinch
The valve is incredibly stiff and it's hard to get it in the correct spot. The valve has also started leaking. I don't recommend this product. My tank has a lip so you can put a lid on it so the bend will not sit on my tank because the bend is to small.

it has all the bells and whistle. just drop it in your aquarium. whoa!
MY ONLY minor complaint the hook in aquarium is some what too short. otherwise it is just fabulous.

Valve Stiff and Hard To Adjust
The media could not be loaded. This was exactly what I needed, although the drip control valve was not as cooperative as I could have hoped. That is why the 1 star off.I had a shipment of shrimp coming in for my new 5-gallon tank. Neocaridina shrimp (although an excellent "beginner" shrimp) have a bit of difficulty with being transferred from one tank to another quickly due to rapid water condition changes making it stressful enough that they can die.The recommended method to avoid stressing them to death is a "drip acclimatization". This involves making a tube that will drip water slowly into the container with the original water they arrived with. You can drip the new tank water in over the course of an hour or more and make the transition much less stressful for the shrimp. I tried to make my own drip line, but it was difficult to find a valve with very small tubing openings to purchase, and having to purchase all the tubing and a valve and put it all together is tedious. I ended up with something MUCH bigger diameter than I intended...and then I saw this.I ordered it immediately, since my shrimp were due to be delivered in a few days and it arrived quickly. The price is very reasonable, in my opinion. The tubing is small diameter, which makes it easier to arrange for a "drip" and the included squeeze pump starter is a great bonus and super-helpful for not having to put your mouth on a used drip line and start suction if you need to do this again in the future... ew.I also like the "hook" shaped plastic end part. Although I did not use it in exactly the same way that the diagram showed to. I hooked it UNDER my tank cleaning magnet in the corner to keep it secured and low enough that the dropping water level (over the course of time it took to transfer the old tank water to new shrimp in container) didn't make the waterline drop below the "intake" area of the hook and stop the transfer.TIP: I thought of this later, but I would suggest removing the plastic tube line from the "longer" (3.9 inch) side of the hook part, and swapping the tube itself on the "shorter" (1.18 inch) end of the hook and dropping the longer end as the "intake" into your tank if you want to use it to hook over the top of the side of your tank to help avoid the waterline dropping too low and stopping the transfer.TIP2: You may want to get more of the same diameter tubing to connect between parts if you have a tall setup and want to put your temporary container on the ground. The provided amount of tubing is generous, but not super-long. I was just able to set my shrimp container on the ground with what was provided.I had to straighten out the tubing a bit, as two different places had gotten badly kinked and (I'm guessing due to the heat encountered during shipping) were pretty much stuck bent. I was able to get them to let water through, but I may need to heat the lines to really get those bends to straighten permanently. I am not counting off for that, though. The drip control valve is my next subject. That part with the orange "adjustment knob" in specific. It works... but not very well. It is VERY stiff and can be over-adjusted way too easily. I was able to finally get it to "drip" water into my receiving container at a rate that satisfied me. That was after several instances where I accidentally dumped several ounces of water in all at once trying to adjust it, or had it drip so slow it would take all day to finish the process, instead of an hour or two of steady, medium slow drip like I wanted. I had to wait in between tries when it went too fast to make sure the shrimp could "adjust" to the water that I had just introduced instead of just letting it drip for an hour or two from the start and not worrying about the rate of new water concentration to old water type. A valve design with slightly better "control" would be appreciated.Overall, this saved me time and effort. After I got it dripping at a rate like I wanted it to, I felt it would be fine just walking away and letting it do it's thing. I wasn't required to walk back and add more water to the shrimp temporary tank every 10-15 minutes and keep worrying about if I was adding too much at once. It successfully got the shrimp acclimatized to their new home and they are happily swimming around and eating all the algae in my tank now. YEAY! Good value if you don't mind fiddling with the valve.

Fantastic!
I've been getting into the shrimp hobby among other things and needed something to help me drip acclimate properly that isn't an awkward setup of an airline tube, paper clips and cable ties and this has done the job exactly.I have 16oz cups with lid meant for food and I made a little hole on top for the clear tube to fit through and have drip-acclimated several shrimp (neos & amanos) as well as fish and it has worked well. The one thing bugging me a little (which is hard to avoid fwiw) is that you have to open the valve entirely to get it going properly before you can adjust to the actual drip. Sometimes it might help to hold the tube shut so it does start suctioning water. But once it's flowing you can carefully adjust and then it does the rest for you which is great.Already used it like a dozen times, really happy with it!! It's small and easy to store away too so it won't add much to your typical hobby clutter (haha...)
