OSTENT Full Housing Repair Mod Case + Buttons Replacement for Sony PSP 1000, Color Black

Poorly made do not buy. Bought this to replace my screen on the psp but the replacement looks worse. Huge seam down the side of the screen makes it unusable as a replacement

I bought this to use the faceplate only, to replace my scratched lens on my 1003 model. The quality isn't as good as OEM but after a bit of a struggle it went on and it looks really good.You will notice a lot of people saying that these arrived scratched etc, but there are actually 2 layers of protective film on the front screen that need removing, and I think some people haven't realised this.Personally, I wouldn't use the whole shell as the quality is questionable, but if you're looking for a faceplate then these are decent.

The case of my PSP had some scratches but when I've seen the bad quality of this product I simply decided to stick to my current scratched PSP. I would only recommend this for extreme damages where the unit is in a really bad condition as this housing is bad even for the cheap south-east Asia standards.An important highlight of this case is that the transparent part of the screen is a different piece of plastic than the black part, while the original PSP is all a smooth surface. Recommended if you want to collect dead cells and dirt around your screen for forensic purposes.Buttons are not transparent like the originals, the symbols are printed on the surface and also feel very cheap.Due to bad packaging there where a couple of small pieces of plastic that are supposed to clip when you close the case that came broken.Sadly is hard to find a full PSP housing from Sony, but you are warned if you go for one of these.

The case itself shows the price (not knocking the seller, as I knew it going in) and is incredibly cheap, has a matt plastic backing with a stuck-on ring, and the screw holes in the back cover are seemingly not drilled correctly. Also, the face plate has been noticeably misprinted. However this comes with all the necessary buttons and screws you would need, which is what I needed and it served it's purpose in that regard!

Crap. Cheap thin flimsy poorly made. Utter rubbish. Screw holes don’t line up. UMD door not even flush. Avoid at all costs.
