Story Time...I purchased this after my son was shooting at a festival and lost the GO 3S while attempting to change his lens on his camera; probably when he removed his backpack and the strap and knocked it off his shirt. Thank god for great people who turned it in to the lost and found as he was one of the only people allowed to film and take photos at this festival. in reference to the quality and design, it is well made and easy to place on your lanyard.

This product gives you that extra reassurance when using the magnetic pendant. I work in a Thrift Store and moving around furniture using the camera and pendant set up can easily cause me to dislodge the camera from the magnet and have it crash to the ground and even worse, having it fall off somewhere in the store and never finding it. Instead this safety cord will have it just dangle there and can easily be reconnected to the magnetic pendant.
