Love this book. The photographs are beautiful.

I anxiously waited for this book, as I just love Carolyn's style and have been a fan for many years. This book did not disappoint. Wonderful variety of ideas and beautiful photography. Carolyn teaches us how to mix old and new for a classic French look.....she shows you that you don't always have to spend tons of money. This is a book I keep on my coffee table and look at every night. It's very quickly become a favorite. If you love vintage and dream of visiting the flea markets of France, you will love this book too.

I bought this book for some home decorating inspiration and… wow! It sure did the trick! Photography is beautiful. Puts me in a perfect daydream state! Love it!

I enjoy this book more every time I read it. I was sad that a few customers gave shallow reviews because they felt there was too much shabby chic and not enough French style...Really? The title of the book is Vintage French Style - there’s going to be some shabby chic-esque (vintage) influences here; besides, shabby chic started with vintage, French-country pieces... I’m guessing the Unhappy Reviews didn’t see the rest of the book, either, because this book offers more then just the typical inspiration. The photos I’ve shared are from the Mid-Mod chapter and I hope that it will give a bit more perspective on how well-rounded this book actually is.

Why buy magazines these days. They cost a ridiculous amount of money. You may as well pay a little extra and have a book. This is such a wonderful book of fabulous photography. Be escorted for a while and dive into the beauty of these interiors.... pure escapism and restful to view. Excellent value (for a change as so many books do cost rather a lot). Highly recommended.
