I am enjoying making quilts from this book. The patterns are simple and require only straight cutting and straight stitching (great for beginning quilters) yet make beautiful quilts when you make use of the gorgeous fabrics available. Lap size quilts can be made in a day or two, and the detailed and easy to follow instructions and extra fabric allowances they give also allow you to construct twin or queen quilts from all of the patterns. The lap quilts actually can be made from just one yard of each of three coordinating fabrics, BUT they use a scant one layer binding. I usually get 1/4 yard extra so I can make the more traditional folded binding.

Easy quilts. Diagrams are inaccurate. Makes me upset the cutting diagram is wonky. The quilt I am making indicates 3 equal cuts, but the diagram cut lines are not equal. I was confused. My quilting teacher says it is because it is digitally produced. I spent may years using a computer for drafting and find this nonsense. If anything it should be more accurate because of computer drawing. Ignore the little picture and just read the directions (my head hurt trying to make the picture match directions).

I am very much a beginner quilter. I found the instructions easy to follow. I am very happy with the results. Not only with the quilt, but that I could achieve what was in the book so easily. I made this quilt in just a few hours.

So Simplistic. Easy to teach to beginners or Use for yourself. Great directions. Even have yardage to make it a larger quilt. Make the 3 yard size. If you really like it, she provides the extra yardage needed to expand the quilt! Love it! ❤️

I had seen this book on a tutorial from Missouri Star Quilt for Jacobs Ladder pattern which was so much easier to follow. I still have to do it
