Hamster Cage Portable Carrier Hamster Carry Case Cage with Water Bottle&Wheels&Food Feeder Travemster Small Animals (Blue)

Please do not buy this small cage as a permanent resident for your little pet. It is small - very small. I used it for a few weeks after I got in 2 little orphaned squirrels that were 3 weeks old, but they rapidly outgrew it. It was fine at first because all the little squirrels did was sleep, but once their eyes opened and they started moving around on their own, a bigger cage was definitely in order. I did not use the wheel - because it really is too small for anything other than a tiny, tiny mouse to use, but I did use the water bottle once I moved the squirrels to a larger cage and introduced water into their system. But the plunger part comes out easily so you need to check it often to ensure the water hasn't drained out. The little dish is cute, but is very small too. It isn't large enough to be a regular food dish and rodents will chew away at it because it is made of plastic. This cage works well as a temporary holding cage if you have to transport something for a short time, but please do not subject an animal to living in it on a regular basis, that would be cruel. For temporary holding or transport of mice, rats, hampsters, gerbils and baby squirrels, it is a great cage. Beyond that, please look at something larger.

This cage was nice for traveling. However, the hamster was able to open the top of the cage somehow. We are in a hotel visiting family. Something told me to wake up, I did and he was outside of the cage and the door was opened. I had to put something heavy on top to keep him from opening it again.

Note that is is really mouse sized not hamsters sized. The wheel and the food dish are too small to actually be used and had to be taken out. But the cage itself is great size for emergency transport. Stays together and door does not come open unless you try to open it. We bought this after we forgot the hamster when our area caught on fire. Nothing happened to our house but we will not forget again. Handy to have on hand.

I love the cage. It’s perfect for holding one or two mice at a time. ( I use this for feeder mice for my snake)

I had to get something quick and cheap (until I get paid tomorrow). As I was opening the wheel which had plastic over it, a piece was broke (which I didn’t notice before I opened the plastic) I cut my thumb trying to open it. Had to put duct tape over that, I can’t get the water bottle to stay on the cage and it’s super small. Luckily I’m getting a bigger one tomorrow from the store so I can see it before I buy it. I guess to transport the pets would be fine but not for long term.

I think is a really good product for traveling or just moving the hamster from one place to another.However, my hamster is kinda crazy so she barely feels comfortable in cages like that.But overall, is a very good product from traveling.

They suck. Don't waist your money. Any hamster with any strength can and will pop the top cage off of the bottom then you're searching for your run away hamster. She's escaped this cage twice. We bought a new one from the pet store
