These look great and keep my CPU clean. The build quality is great for the price and installation is super easy. AM5 doesn't have a bending problem but they did lower my cpu just a hair which is also a plus. Would recommend for all am5 builds!

Worked well and holds CPU firmly in place. Also don't give you the "cringy" feeling when using the standard spring clamp system that most motherboards have. Probably better for the motherboard pins as well since you tighten the four corners down incrementally. Just solid, flat pressure. Also keeps the excess thermal past from getting onto your board cause there's always "too much." Don't act like you get the right each time either!Finally, it looks amazing!

TL:DR if you are worried if its a real product or knock off, it is a Genuine product.Wasn't sure if this was a legit Thermalright or a knock off simply because of the seller. But it was sell by seller and shipped by Amazon so I got it anyway. Luckily on the package was a scratch off code you can check to see if its legit or not. And its legit. The code registered as being legit. And I had to scratch it to reveal code so its not like someone faked it. And the package needs to be ripped open as a safety seal ideal so that's a double check for ensuring its legit. And the sticker on the package doesn't seem to have been removed at any point, no sighs of being tampered with. So its a legit product. Can't wait to use it for my next build!UPDATE: Build is over. Installing this was stupid simple. I have it the old mechanic "good-n-tight" muscle/grip when installing so it should be holding nice and firm. And then installed an Arctic Liquid Freezer III 240mm on top. The Arctic AIO is a pain in the ass to install, but this isn't a review about that.... I can't see a temp difference before/after since its a new build, but temps are great. So I can't complain. I also prefer this 4 point mount over the stock hardware. Which for me means peace of mind, mechanically speaking.

Not necessary for AM5 but looks clean, and makes wiping up thermal paste a breeze. That alone makes it worth the cost.

First time I have every used a retainer plate like this. I will put one in every PC i build going forward. Clean install and very secure CPU. This isn't a required item but I prefer having this frame than the forced clip of the AM5 CPUs. 4 simple screws and the CPU is secured on the board and the thermal paste doesn't seep through. Also don't have to hear the horror stories from others who misaligned their CPUs before they lowered the locking mechanism on the motherboard and damaged both items.

I have always been concerned about the high temperatures of the new CPUs and also concerned about the lack of proper anchoring. Some folks have said that they see no difference in temperatures, but I can tell. The temps are more stable, and the CPU frequencies are higher and more stable. It definitely works. This pressure plate also helps keep the thermal compound from getting all over the computer, no matter how careful you are.TYVVM
