I have medium curls and like to straight my hair on occasion. There are 3 setting 120C, 150C and 230C. I don't know why anyone needs 230C! it's too hot - I'm afraid of burning my hair - be sure to brush fast and quick! !20C is just fine for me.Yes it does straighten out my hair and it took only a few minutes. My hair was dry at the time - not sure how it would do when wet.What I really like is that the back doesn't get hot - it warms up after a few minutes long after your done. And it cools off within a few minutes.Love it. Highly recommend.

Pretty much everything you would expect in this price range, I have thick curly hair and this iron worked well but did take a couple passes to get me that smooth shiny look, the iron heated up pretty fast and is small and light enough to take on trip. The build quality seems average and it’s very easy to use, but not sure how long it will last, but if you need something short term, this would definitely fit the price, giving it four stars.

I have fine thinning hair with a wiry texture. It doesn’t hold curl but it does need straightened to keep the ends from kinking. It sits just below the shoulder. I mention the length because I don’t know how the tool works with longer or thicker hair. Although, I suspect it would save a person with thick long hair a lot of time. On my hair, one pass per section does the trick.Did you ever wash your hair at night and think, “I just don’t have the energy to blow dry it.” When I do that, I wake up with poofy ends. This straightening brush is pretty cool! It has several heat settings. I use 180 F. Then I run it through small sections of my hair and it makes it perfectly straight and smooth.A straight iron allows me to put a bend in the section or curl the ends up or under. The brush, on the other hand, does not. (At least not that I’ve figured out.) The brush only makes hair straight. If you have a blunt cut and style this is a great tool to have.It works quickly so if you have bed head and need a quick way to smooth it out then this is it.The power button is on the handle right where I put my thumb when I use it. One time I held it there long enough to turn it off but I learned after that to pay attention. There really is no better place for the power button so I can’t complain.Surprisingly, it’s not that heavy. I use it every day and haven’t noticed negative consequences in my hair. I do use a heat protectant.Good find.

I have 4B hair and this straightener helped straighten my hair from it's natural coily state. This is more like a brush straightener so you don't need to chase the hairdryer with a comb. It didn't make my hair bone straight but that's ok. I like that it has a lock on the power/setting button, so when your using it doesn't turn off or change temp. It reads in Celsius but it comes with a conversion card so you can know in Ferinhiet. Also the handle nor back get to hot so you can set it down and use without burning yourself. Which is a plus for me! Great hair tool!!

The power button is on the handle so when you are doing your hair it keeps turning off. Not a good design. Does not leave my hair silky. Still have to touch up with regular flat iron but does cut time.

It definitely straightened my hair a bit, but left it poofy and not super sleek. I have naturally curly and thin hair. I would continue to use this as it did cut the time needed on using a flat iron, just needed to quickly pass the iron a few times.
