I know the description has a 5 star rating at top. I had to give 4 stars because, I think the magnet could be stronger. Overall construction is great. Clamps well,etc. I use an industrial steel table as a hobby table. I welded 1/4" steel plate on the back of it vertically to put my model blueprints on. Sure I have tons of led lighting. I needed something spot on. I bought this to clamp an adjustable tactical flashlight to spot the light where I needed it. The drawback is that the clamp itself is already heavy. Between the 2, it's heavy on the end and the magnet pops off my plate. This would be superb if it had stronger magnets.

This clamp is very solid with a strong magnetic base. Easy to adjust to hold items for stable work. I really enjoy using this clamp.

broken and scuffed up parts. useless paperweight right out of the box. great quality control. there are parts where the paint is chipped and the parts that articulate are chipped as well. almost looks like I was sent a broken and used item for the "new" price. Give someone else your money.

Overall, it’s not a bad tool holder. Unfortunately, the magnet is not strong enough to hold anything like a heat gun. However, I removed the sticker on the bottom, that was covering the magnets and it was a lot stronger. I can leave the sticker off the bottom, but I’m afraid it’ll scratch the table easily.
