application is tricky and I got patches which stay white and did not go transparent. You need to allow at least 24 hours for it to go transparent and then some areas can fail. I think the trick is to spread it as thin as possible, in complete contradiction to the instructions. How ever application is tricky, the paint once it hits the surface almost immediately starts to set, so if you some how didnt get a smooth line, there is almost no way to fix it without making a hash of things.My advise is keep some strong kitchen towel handy and water, and if you dont get it perfect, wipe the whole surface down, removing all the paint in the effected area and try applying it again. There is no way to fix , smooth or anything else once its on the surface.This still gets 3 stars because despite the issues which I am not happy about , the areas where it worked are exceptional. The effect is amazing and exactly what I wanted, the trick is to get a perfect application.

The paint is labelled as transparent, however, when applied, it gave a patchy effect, i.e. it is not transparent. It is in between white and transparent with uneven colour. The white colour option might be a better one. Now I need to find a way how to get this pain off (as it is very hard, almost like glass) and repaint the wall with something else. It is not acceptable quality for a paint of this price.
