Very Very Bright
Tight wide adjustment is nice. Hi low is useful. I could do without the strobe. Power switch failed on first unit I received, replacement unit working well.

Powerful red headlamp, great for astronomy star parties
I'm not a hunter, but I AM an amateur astronomer. When attending a star party where a dozen people have set up telescopes on a clear night, once it gets dark and eyes have accustomed to the dark, you don't want ANY white light anywhere. Therefore, most of us have red headlamps so we can see what we are doing, but not with white light. This one is almost TOO powerful. On the HI mode, it's very bright, too bright for something up close like working a telescope. Fortunately this has a less bright mode, which works fine. I like that it uses two standard 3.7V 2800mAh 18650 batteries that last ALL night and then some. Also, there is no need for an 18650 lithium battery charger, as there is one built into the battery compartment. All you need is a standard 5V USB cord. One is included of course. The head strap is comfortable and adjustable. It appears quality made, and I have to give it five stars and recommend.

This headlamp for hunting is really great quality and it looks fantastic. It is well made and the craftsmanship is really nice.
