MISSION ELITE Heavy Duty EDC Tactical Belt - Stiffened 2-Ply 1.5" Nylon Gun Belt

I wore the belt 4 times and the stitching that binds the two layers of webbing is breaking already. I like the stiffness of the belt but durability is doubtful. Contacted the vender who seemed sympathetic, but just said to continue wearing and advise if delamination continues. Not an inexpensive belt. Disappointing.Update. Worn very little but the plastic buckle has teeth that have worn enough to no longer grip the webbing. Totally useless. Don't buy.

Junk!This thing is pure junk. It is way more flexible than the 1 ply belts I have from Tru-Spec. I knew as soon as I grabbed the bag it was that it was junk.There is no way anybody IWB or OWB carries with this belt without having tons of slack and the weight pulling on the belt. I would not even wear this belt without carrying. The tru-spec ones are great, but I needed a 1.5" belt for my new holster. I would never wear any holster, regardless of position, with this belt.I did include pics to give you an idea how flimsy it is. I applied equal pressure attempting to close the belts. The black one is the junk one I am reviewing here, and the grey one is the tru-spec. The tru-spec is 1.75" and this one is 1.5"... so that is even more pathetic. The tru-spec even returns to it's natural form more than this thing does. I could not even believe how flimsy this was. I did see on other reviews someone mentioned it. Take their advice and mine too. Skip this junk. Especially skip it if you carry in any way shape or form.There is one review with a picture of someone IWB carrying and I did not notice until after that in order to do so, they have the belt so tight and the weight of the holster still creates a sag.My last complaint, because there are ZERO positives here, is the lack of something to hold the belt slack once tightened. Every single nylon belt I have ever owned either had velcro, or a elastic band to do this. Not this one. That is how cheap this thing is.I even went so far as to advise amazon in removing it all together as false advertisement and deceptive marketing. The sheer fact that it states in the title that it is 'reinforced' is a marketing ploy and very misleading. Do not be fooled, this is not like those CQR pants where they use the same material and look just as good as 5.11 pants, this is pure junk and nothing like a good nylon belt should ever be.

I've been using plastic insert re-enforced nylon belts and also leather gun belts for years to secure my pistols. These belts do not have hard plastic inside like other carry specific belts do so I did not expect it to hold my Glock as securely as a carry belt does. Having said that, these are very high quality belts and they do a good job as both a regular belt and also to holster lightweight pistols. The plastic buckle holds as securely as a metal one does, but the method to cinch it up is a little different and merits watching the You Tube instructional video. I have been using this belt daily for almost a month and can honestly say that it is well built, comfortable, stays tight, and will hold a compact Glock size pistol with an extra mag just fine. It is not a duty/service belt, but I didn't expect it to be. It is an exceptional value everyday wear belt that can double as a lightweight pistol belt when needed. And it won't break the budget or set airport metal detectors off.

This belt has grown on me. As promised I would leave a final review. My first was not a very good one due to not liking (getting used to) the buckle. Which is just fine now. I wasn't happy that the tag was upside down... come to find out I was wearing it inside out. Lol. The material is thicker than most but still a little flimsy-ish... BUT!!!.... it adds to comfort wearing twelve to fourteen hours a day since it conforms with my waistline. My biggest gripe was how short the belt is cut. I'm still a bit put off by this but it gives the belt a cleaner look as you wear it. I am a size 34 waist in belts due to IWB carry. This leaves very little to work with to retighten the belt if it has worked loose while wearing my pistol. I have since gotten used to this as well and made due. I believe an additional inch or two inches in the length will aid the buyer in a better grip and alleviate this issue... or I may be the only one with this problem. Texturing the inside of the buckle may help with the belt coming loose as well. Customer service is great. They initially saw my first review with only one star and immediately sent an email asking what was wrong and offered tips. This is how I came to find out I wore my belt inside out. Why not make it an option to showcase the company though? And as of today they even sent a final follow up email asking if I've managed to have a change of heart with the belt or if there are still concerns... etc. so from my first impression until today, I have truly come around and actually have grown to like this belt. 5 stars would have been my final review if it weren't for these few Hingis I mentioned but four are still good.

This is a great belt! I bought because of my job. I pass through metal detectors and did not want the hassle of a belt with metal. That being said, it's also part of my EDC. I carry IWB and this works well for that purpose. Granted it would not be sturdy enough for a true "duty" belt and carrying heavy OWB and other tactical equipment. The double thickness makes it plenty capable of less than that level of service.It took me a couple of tries to perfect the tightening of the belt. To save some time just watch the video on YouTube. It's really very easy.Been wearing daily for over a month. So far, nothing negative to say.

Bought this for my 14 to son, who is very skinny for his age. Fully adjustable and fits perfectly.
