Great tent, especially for the price. Plenty of space when you’re able to include all the trunk space. I used this for 2 weeks with no hiccups at all, setting up and tearing it down 4 different times. It rained a few times and no leakage at all.I do recommend strapping to the car starting from top and working down to the bottom as I found that to be the easiest and most stable.

The tent was super easy to set up for my husband and I. It was a little tricky at first figuring out what poles were which but once you get that it’s a breeze. It fit nicely around our Subaru forester and made it super comfortable to sleep in the car while keeping all of our supplies and day use stuff in the tent. So far we have only used it once but we are looking forward to using it again. It seems to be built very well.

This tent is absolutely engineered with ingenuity and the simple person in mind. I wanted to give myself the hardest situation I could. I did it myself in 112 deg Fahrenheit weather, and just used the printed instructions and did not use the online video guide.Before i received it, I was skeptical because I wondered how the flap would be able to keep critters out connected to my SUV hatch. The opening to the SUV hatch has its own zipper enclosure so no worries there. Just be sure to shut your SUV hatch before bedtime.The main door is designed with absolute ingenuity. It is an upside down T (3 zippers that intersect at the cross). This makes it easy to open and close. No more of the standard tent half moon zipper. The main door even has windows that you can zipper closed.When reading the instructions, it might be a bit confusing, but once you actually get the pieces for each step you understand easily what the instructions mean. One thing I think the instructions should have included is to put the weather proof top on the tent before raising it up. Because doing it after makes it a bit difficult trying to throw it over and draping it. HOWEVER, remember that I wanted to do it myself. If you have help getting on the too, it is no problem.Doing it in 112 deg F weather actually wasn't too difficult. Just drank water here and there.

This tent would have a 5-star review if it fit our SUV (2012 Ford Escape) a little better. With the rear door open it is not quite tall enough that it doesn’t tug up on the the bottom and it stops it from fitting flush to the ground.The tent is amazing to stand in. Tent height is often a challenge as someone over 6ft, but my 5’3’’ wife also loved the size of the tent.Very easy to set up and take down, even if you have to detach from the tent to head into town. Make sure that you have an easy way to stake the tent from a car pad or spot.We’re very happy with our purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking to camp from their SUV. Combined with a good SUV mattress, it’s very comfortable.No issues with bugs, heat, or moisture.

Bought this tent and took it out to Bear Lake. The quality was absolutely awful and ripped when we were setting it up. Then our blankets and bedding and clothes got soaked in a rainstorm and all the stakes were pulled up and the tent could barely stand up. Very unhappy with the purchase 😕

I have a mini van. I set it up off of a side door instead of the back hatch. It provides shade and extra interior space to stretch out. Great for extra people and stuff. Super easy to set up alone. A real quality product.

I put this up by myself in like 15min. Wish the poles were labeled but it's easy to figure out which is which according to instructions. The tent part is easier than attaching to car part to make secure but Im sure with practice it's easier. Looks awesome to me and comes with side awning too. Very spacious and good quality. It was a sunny weekend so I didn’t get a chance to try it out when it rained. Definitely worth it.

Setting up this tent using your car with the tunk open was extremely difficult. It took us two hours to figure out how to properly secure and attach all the attachments securely. It probably didn't help that we arrived at our campsite near dusk, so we were using headlamps. Overall it's a GREAT tent. Once it is set up, it is very room, you can stand up in it and walk around and the zippers are all great. I just wish it was easier to set up with the given directions.
