Ergon GA2 Fat MTB All-Mountain Bike Grips – Ergonomic, Adjustable, Soft German Rubber for Trail, XC, Freeride & Bikepacking

The Ergon GA2 Grips: These are my favorite grips of all times. I’m not exaggerating, they are comfortable for all day rides and stay tacky even when the ride gets wet. Ergon makes a number of high quality products for mountain bikers, Grips, Saddles, Hip Pack, Gloves and more. These grips are definitely at the top of my favorites list of items they offer. Even thought the name si the grips is “Fat” the thickness is not extreme and they offer a great feel and some extra comfort as well. As with all of Ergon products the quality and build is exceptional. They not only work great they look awesome with many colors to choose from. I went with he blue but the standard Black ands several other colors are available as well.

Pros: Thick Tacky Proper minimal contour Not heavy Single lock Plastic press fit bar ends that haven't fallen out yet. Cons: You'll never go back to thin grips again. Single lock Plastic press fit bar ends that could possibly fall out. I hate ESI fat grips. The foam is way too stiff when you FINALLY get it molded to your hand. And even that is minimal. I tried several other "fat" grips but none of them were comfortable and/or grippy enough. Ergon makes smart stuff. These grips are perfect for not-small hands. Their rubber is perfect for grip and comfort. Even better is after a wash, it gets tacky. You're not slipping a grip with these. I think my only concern is that they're going to wear out slightly faster than a normal grip but since they're thicker that probably won't matter.

With a traditional profile, these grips provide good ergonomic support. Both their design and material make them comfortable and effective. My wrists are the 'weak link' in my cycling. I've used a range of high end grips including ergonomic designs - with no particular success, adequate at best. In preparing for my first Century, I wanted good grips and read many reviews. These scored among the top in all. With these grips, I did the hundred miles (12 hours of hilly/mountainous trails) comfortably that day and had no pain the next day. Last week, I did another Century with same good experience. Plan to buy another set for my other bike.

Just bought a new bike and the grips were way to small for an XL bike, bought these to replace them. They feel good and don't fatigue my hands nearly as fast as the smaller grips did. I also didn't notice much loss in feel of the bike. However, one flaw is the lack of texture or siping, this means when your hands get sweaty they will be slick, so if you don't have gloves, you should definitely consider buying some along with these. Definitely some of the better grips I've used though.

Needed more padding for my hands on my all rigid commuter mtb. These grips fit the bill. I love the feel and the fatness off the grips. Not to mention they look awesome on my bike. The rubber compound of these grips is great and they feel very durable. This is my second version of Ergon grips I have for my commuter bikes. I have another set on my commuter ebike. Finally some relief for my hands and wrist while on long rides. Will definitely buy more of there products.

Great comfort and grip for larger hands. The color also looks great against most bikes and stands out in a crowd.

Trouvant les autres poignées trop petite en diamètre cette série Fat est plutôt bien. Bon grippe et de bonne qualité.

Great grips but it’s came with one bolt missing from the left grip and the one in the right when I tightened it it’s got cracked a little pit maybe i put alot of force in it but I expected to be more durable than that
