Easy to use - Great value
I love this sorter. I had about 1/2 gallon of coins collected and didn't want to pay the 12% charge at the grocery store sorter....so bought this instead. A few suggestions to make this easy: 1. Don't put the paper wrappers in first or you will not be able to see how many more coins are needed as you fill the tubes. I used a silver marking pen to mark the correct coin level on the outside of the tube which is easily seen while filling the tubes (see pic). 2. Without the paper inside the tube, you can quickly inspect the full stack to make sure a smaller coin like a dime has not found its way into a stack of nickels or quarters. 3. Start with a handful of coins and go from all largest (quarters) to all smallest (dimes) to make things efficient. 4. Let the coins fall freely from your hand and they will load well. 5. Use the free wrappers from your bank. Once the coin stack is level with the back edge of the tube, insert the paper wrapper over the first few coins, then tilt the tube slightly to let the coins angle over, and then easily slide the wrapper all the way down the stack. Keep your finger in the filled paper wrap and invert the tube and crimp the paper ends...then go deposit them all at the bank! I was able to wrap a bucket of coins over the course of one Monday Night Football game......and now I just keep up by adding all loose pocket change to the sorter on my dresser.

Handy
The media could not be loaded. My kids will enjoy this. You put the paper roll in the tube, then put it in the housing. Drop the coins on the top and when the paper roll is full, pull the holder out.

The cheapest way to keep up with your coin change
The free paper quarter rolls were cut to short to use.

Good for home or office
Good for home or office use. Good for occasional use. Wish it included more wrappers.

Nostalgic
I used to use these type of coin counters years ago and seeing this brought back old memories. This model works great and lets you count all sorts of coins. It even comes with some paper coin wrappers. Great for when you need to start counting the change jar at home.

Does Not Accurately Count Coins
I was very excited to receive this coin sorter and counter. Unfortunately, the tubes do NOT hold the exact amount of coins needed for a roll. It is completely useless to me. I will be returning.

It's ok...
It's ok, but time-consuming. You can't use it with the rolls already inside the tube, the coin count will be off. You have to fill the tubes up with coins first, then insert the empty wrapper over the coins ...which can be easier said than done. It is harder to use the regular flat empty wrappers, rather than the preformed coin wrappers as they show in the photos. The regular flat coin wrappers get caught on the coins when you try to insert the coin wrappers into the coin counter when it is full of coins. I recommend using only the preformed wrappers to avoid frustration.
