The plants that I received are awesome they’re growing like crazy. I caged them early on to keep the critters out and they’re like anywhere from a foot to 2 foot tall and flowering and I guess that’s how it goes. Leave him alone next year they’ll do the same but I might be able to cut off a couple young asparagus, but not many deer two and don’t mess with it either you three and it could be as long as 20 years Which is incredible. I should’ve done asparagus eight years ago. Maybe I’ll do a video next time.

We received our 3 type bundle of Asparagus well packaged. We had prepared the beds beforehand and planted them as advised by seller. In a little than a week we began to see asparagus shoots coming up. It’s been 3 weeks since we planted then and every crown has sprouted. We are over the moon about this purchase. I look forward to many years of tasty asparagus thanks to the care this seller obviously gave to our crowns. Highly recommend!

Planted these last summer and they mostly all survived. This package came with quite a few plants in it and they grew quickly! The purple plants are beautiful, but we haven't tasted any. I'm letting them grow a year up establish themselves first. A recommendation would be to open and plant as soon as you get the package. I waited a couple days and some of the roots had mold.. fairly normal though

Each of the 3 varieties had a couple extra, the crowns mostly large and healthy looking. The extras made up for the couple that didn’t look great! One group (I think the purple passions) had blotches of blue mold on roots, but they went in the ground right away, so not an issue. My only concern is that a lot of the crowns arrived breaking dormancy. I didn’t think early fall was a good time to plant, but I’m willing to gamble. The crowns arrived in the last few days of September, and now (Oct 10), I have a bunch of 4-6” spears. Nice that they’re vigorous, but I’m concerned they’ve spent their energy and won’t recoup that before the frost hits. I think I’m zone 8. I’ll try to remember to update in spring!

I’ve wanted to grow asparagus for years but was to scared to. Seemed so hard to grow. 2025 was my year to start! So I bought the mixed bundle. They not only grew within the first week but they grew as tall as me in one summer. I can’t harvest until next spring so I can’t review how they taste. However, the plants themselves are beautiful. They are packaged perfectly! I also bought strawberries from the same seller. They are beautiful. I would definitely buy from this grower again! Just do your research and how to plant the roots and you will do great!

i got more plants than advertised, and not by an insignificant amount either. i actually killed a bunch of the plants by not getting them into the ground in time, but i still wound up with more than the 30 plants i purchased. i will definitely be purchasing this again to fill in where some didnt survive and to ensure a surplus to preserve in the future, although 30 plants is likely enough for my family of 5 to have a large helping of asparagus at every meal when it is in season, and still probably have a bit left over.

I planted these the day I received them, May 5th and as of today, May 10th, I have several that have sprouted. These arrived in great condition, way better and healthier than anything I've seen at my local shops. I saw a review saying nothing was labeled.. mine had post-its with abbreviations on each bundle. I also received several extra crowns. I'm very happy with my purchase!
