Shakespeare Agility Landing Net - Carp Friendly Mesh, Alluminium Ring - For Coarse, Match or Freshwater Fishing

This is an superb Landing Net, with a great size & quick dry material. The oval shaped hoop is 24" by 20", which is big enough for the average carp angler. However, if you're going to a specimin lake, or somewhere you know there's a chance of catching a 20lb + carp, then this may not be big enough. The rubberised net is fairly lightweight & obviously dries really quickly because it doesn't soak up any water. The frame is very stong & will take a large weight, and it's lightweight too due to it being made of aluminium. I have pulled out several double figure carp with this (10 - 15lb) & it has coped well with that sort of weight. I found that it fits perfectly in the Shakespear Agility Stinkbag -> Shakespeare Agility Stink Bag - Blue, with the threaded part going neatly into the corner of the bag.If you're looking for a medium sized landing net, this is definately worth the money. If you need something that will cope with 20lb +, then maybe a bigger net would be better - after all, we're all looking out for the best interest of the fish itself.

"Large" is 24" long, 19" wide (at its widest) and 18" deep, so plenty big enough for most coarse fishing. The net is a rubber/rubberised material, which should resist rotting and snagging on bankside vegetstion but time will tell. Sturdy aluminioum frame with what seems to be a strong Y section. Seems to be good value for money.

I expected good quality from Shakespeare but after a couple of uses screws are looking rusty and plastic connector has got a crack in it.Very disappointed.

Bought in 2021 didn’t use it on 2023 at all its now may 24 and used it three times this year. The threaded connector pulled out of the net today. Just sheared off as too weak to take the weight of a fish

Excellent net shockingly good quality for price, strong and well designed. Nice understated looking pice of kit, very light weight. Works well on a light handle; easily capable of handling fish up to 12lb carp, and superb for smaller corse fish.

Absolut starker und sehr gut verabeiteter Kescherkopf, wo das Netz gummiert wurde, was den Vorteil hat, dass sich der Schleim nicht in die Faser setzt und abartisch stinkt.Die Verarbeitung ist wie gesagt absolute Spitzenklasse und sehr sauber verarbeitet. Was die Haltbarkeit vom Verbindungsstück angeht, da wird es die Zeit zeigen.Ich wage jedoch die Behauptung, dass die meisten User - welche von einem gebrochenen Verbindungsstück berichten - einfach nicht wissen wie man Fische keschert. Der Kescher wird ins Wasser gegleitet und der Fisch wird über den Rand in den Kescher gezogen. Dann wird der Kescher - NICHT - in waagerecht hochgewuchtet, sondern senkrecht oder am Netz packend (je nach Größe des Fisches) aus dem Wasser gehoben. So geht garantiert kein Verbinder kaputt, weil keine Belastung entsteht.

bellissimo rete in gomme e si presenta benissimo è robusto mi si è piegato un po verso il basso con carpe di 12kili ,no l'ho usato correttamente e non le ho tirate su di peso ma non si è rotto e non ha danni ,consigliato sicuramente

Der Kescher ist jetzt seit rund einem Jahr in Gebrauch und hat bisher fehlerfrei seinen "Dienst" verrichtet.Die Gummierung schützt einerseits davor nach dem Drill den Haken ggf. mühselig wieder aus dem Netz zu bekommen und andererseits nimmt sie keinen Geruch an.Einfach am Ende des Angeltages noch kurz durchs Wasser streifen und abschütteln. Innerhalb weniger Minuten ist das Netz trocken.Ich kann den Kescher für die "normalen" Fischgrößen bis 1 Meter uneingeschränkt empfehlen.
