Buy the 700..not the 500
Last year I bought the 500 and I didn't like it so I gave it a bad review. This year I took a chance on the 700. So far on my paddle board this thing moves . I'm yet to see the battery go empty.today I'm going to dive with it. I did try n stand in the water and max this out and it almost flew out of my hands. I owe this company an apology for a year of bad review. I do say spend the extra money on the 700.

Looks better in AD then in reality. Battery life is good, speed acceptable, overpriced

Buyer beware
I bought 2 units.neither worked so I requested a return. The guy said charge it for 8 hours... I did and they still didn't work. Did I get 2 prior returns? Oh and be careful. They did not provide a return label. Returns are on your dime and it ships to China. I would buy a different one. Customer service is not the best. They treat you like it's your fault they sold a scrappy defective product.

The scooter has good power and the battery lasts a long time. I still had plenty of battery after an hour. The main problem I have is that while on a stand up paddle board, I found the response to the remote control lagging and the motor would cut out every so many minutes until I toggled the remote control a few times. Probably works better when the remote is attached directly on top of the scooter while snorkeling.

This is great! I have tried it and used with my hybrid paddle board/ kayak and it was a lot of fun. It mounts easily and charges fairly quickly, in about an hour or so. I tested it on Lake Ontario on a fair day with very small waves and a pretty solid tide in the afternoon and it worked beautifully. I like the easy control from my wrist - very responsive and reliable. The speed was decent and noticeable, even against a moderate current. Looks and feels solid yet reasonably light. Love it so far! I haven’t used the underwater guide feature yet, but I don’t foresee a problem with it. I’ll let you know in due time. Hope to have lots and lots of aquatic fun with it.
