My new TIMBREGEAR BEAST Chromatic tuner works perfectly as you can see in the photo. Even though the Amazon Return window closed on Mar 6, 2019 they sent a new replacement tuner immediately after Aug 20, 2019 when they learned my tuner became defective. No questions - no hassle, as their warranty states. I prefer buying products from a company that stands behind their products, and I bet you do too. To recap, originally purchased this product on 02/02/2019. Preferred this to the Snark and Kord until 08/20/2019 when the TIMBREGEAR Chromatic guitar tuner no longer registered C Major tuning on any ukulele. Works great with the G E A strings, just can't tune the C strings. This includes the C2 and C3 and C4 strings on a Harp Ukulele. I have removed and replaced the battery to reset the device. I have tried setting 440 and 432 Pitches with no lasting improvement. I gave this product two stars, because I could use it to tune all my strings except C with it and then set C by ear relative to the other strings. Now I am boosting the this tuner back to five stars as TIMBREGEAR BEAST continues to outperform my new SNARK and older KORD tuners.

Purchased to use to tune a harp. It does not pick up sound very well except for on a guitar. Works exceptionally well on the guitar. Works like crap for harp. The screen is hard to read unless you’re looking at it straight on. it says that it has tuning for all instruments I am imagining that’s what the chromatic tuning mode is. In addition to the chromatic mode, It has guitar mode, violin, and ukulele I believe as it’s marked U.

When you tune your guitar to the note, this tuner lights up solidly without wavering like other tuners that make you keep turning that peg forever. With this one, you know you're there, and it checks out with the keyboard and with harmonic tuning. That's precise enough for me and the price is reasonable for that level of precision. I like the size of the display, bigger than most, and this thing grabs the headstock securely, not gonna fall off. Well built. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5: Wrong color was shipped. Why?? Teal is not Silver! I personally have nothing against Teal, but if anyone in my band says anything about it, it's going back. Don't want anyone hitting the wrong chord due to Teal distraction.

This tuner works as well or better than some of the more expensive tuners I' ve used. Well worth the money!!

I have been using a snark for years on several different kinds of acoustic guitars with no problems. I then bought my Taylor 714ce and I could not get it to tune in properly, it seemed to be just out of tune enough to the so that I was considering returning my Taylor for a different model! I tried using the Timbregear tuner as a last resort and it tuned my Taylor beautifully!!! It brought all the strings in together and sounded great!!! I will order another Timberegear for my 12 string Takamine and see what happens! The Timbregear is more expensive than the snark but seems to be well worth it.

First thing I noticed was how small and light this was even with the firm packaging. I loved seeing how it swivels in all directions and the rubberized clip has a surprisingly strong grip. No reason to take it off. The screen is colorful and surprisingly sharp even from a distance (older musicians take note). For extended battery life it goes into power save mode when no signal and completely shuts off after 3 minutes of non-use. Great assortment of stylish picks - can never get enough! Easiest ever to use just follow the simple instructions. Of all tuners I tried this is the best by far. Go for it!

I have very little experience with playing guitars, and this is a great help. It seems to be quite accurate, and is quite easy to use with one exception. I have learned how to use it, but it can switch real easy from one note to another, and I was not getting a proper reading at first. It took no time to realize that I had to be more careful.

Good tuner

I bought this as a temporary solution when I left my Kliq Uber Tuner at a friend's house. It looks and feels exactly the same as the Kliq (which I find to be extremely accurate) but I feel this is slightly less accurate than the Kliq, though that may just be me. Very bright display and responds quickly when string is plucked.
