It would make the battery rechargeable.•Strobe pulse speed is not controllable. It is faster than I would prefer.•Light is one color only. Multiple colors in a single unit would be a nice option.•A non-pulse, always-on glow stick-like option would be a nice feature.

The Orcatorch tank light on my first dive with it worked pretty well. It is priced right, small and very compact. It has a solid on/blinking light option. We used one for our tanks and my buddy used the blinking mode to mark a guide rope. They aren't as bright as other types but they are compact, easy to use. Battery is a common AAA battery and not an odd type to try finding. I also like the color options to use for identifying other divers or an ascent line for wreck diving.

It looks cool and is functional. It's just not very bright. I was hoping for more. It has held up well during multiple ocean dives.

The media could not be loaded. I ordered the blue light. This is very bright! There are two modes, flashing and constant. It's easy to turn on and change modes with a simple twist. Lightweight, durable construction with long battery life. Seals tightly with double o-ring design. Compact design is great for travel. It is on my packing list for dive trips. I use it in the flashing mode as a tank marker. With the flashing mode enabled and blue color together my dive buddy can easily identify me in a group on a night dive. I am very happy with this light. Highly recommend.

The media could not be loaded. Surprisingly exceeded my expectations!! Got this tank light in Green color version. This beast runs on AAA battery and very handy when you travel and not bring extra charging cable. I use this on my night dives and even day dives which is every weekend. Easy to operate, just simply twist for turning it on. Twist for a steady light and twist again if you want a strobe. Tighten it after the dive to turn it off. It is easily seen and bright enough that my dive buddies see me a few feet away especially when I venture off and look for critters. Very simple and it performs as it was intended. This is a perfect little tank light for my diving. This will be a great gift for your dive buddy this Christmas. 100% a must have in your dive bag. Mahalo!

This is a quality product, but I would like to see the lights be brighter.
