I just have it and it's not working. do I have to add any oil or something?

It will work out of the box but they do need to be oiled every so often. Regular hydraulic fluid will work. Most of them can use transmission fluid as well

20" by adjusting the knob on the top of jack. It works great for my husband on his Dodge 4x4 truck. Have had nothing but good luck with this jack!

Does it work for mini-van(Toyota Sienna)?

Not sure about your Sienna. I use it with my Toyota Matrix. The only issue is that it doesn't go quite low enough to get under the front jacking point, but if I apply a little upward pressure on the bumper from below and then I can slip it underneath.
