Impressive Simultaneous Double Battery Charger/Case for EN-EL15 Series of Batteries
There is absolutely nothing not to like about the "llano EN-EL15 Dual Battery Fast Charger." Because it's powered via USB-C cable it can charge batteries using power from AC outlets, portable devices, your car, or an external power bank. At home, charging this with a PD 3.0 100 W charger and USB-C to USB-C cable, it charged the two batteries simultaneously quite quickly - much faster than the OEM AC powered single battery charger charged just the one battery. In the field I've used it with a 22.5W portable power bank with similar, if not so quick, impressive results. One of its helpful features is the dual charge display that will tell you the remaining power in each battery when you first put them into the charger and then gives you a running indication of the increasing power in each battery as they are charged. If the display turns off, pressing the button on the front of the unit re-lights the display. The unit is also handy as a carrying case for 2 batteries and a SD card which are kept secured by the magnetic closure of the lid. Although the unit ships with a USB-A to USB-C cable I strongly suggest using a USB-C to USB-C for faster charging capabilities. All in all the "llano EN-EL15 Dual Battery Fast Charger" is a very impressive portable battery charger for home and field use with the Nikon EN-EL15 series of batteries. To me it is a solid 5-star product that should definitely be on, or near, the top of the comparison list for this type of charger.(Please see below for my rating criteria):=============================================================Disclosure:As noted by Amazon, I am part of the Vine Program which means that I acquire products at no cost in return for a truthful rating. However, although Vine Members pay nothing up front to get these free products they are considered by the Internal Revenue Service as taxable income at the full retail price at the time we get them and we, therefore, must pay taxes on these items. On a more personal note I often read reviews for products I am considering buying and rely on those reviews that are detailed and come off as honest and full reviews on the product. I therefore try my best to give a true and honest review based on my own experiences with the product. My Rating Scale:1 star. This is the absolute lowest I can go and is a definite recommendation against being purchased.2 stars. Less than average - having issues that I try to delineate in my review. I personally would not pay for this item.3 stars. Average - neither great nor terrible. It will do the job it is supposed to do but without any obvious good or bad issues.I might or might not buy this item depending on the severity of my need or want.4 stars. While the product is better than average it is not an excellent product. I would probably buy this product.5 stars. Enough above average that it exceeds my expectations of how the product would and should perform. A product getting this rating is highly recommended.Further middle ratings: The above explanation is the base of the recommendations I give in a review. Sleek looking, lightweight portable dual battery fast charger with display for my Nikon
I ordered this llano EN-EL15 Dual Battery Fast Charger to complement/upgrade my OEM chargers from Nikon. This is exclusively for Nikon cameras using EN-EL15, EN-EL15A, EN-EL15B and EN-EL15C batteries. I own 2 Nikon DSLR's and several EN-EL15 batteries. It's so key to have fully charged batteries, especially if you will be out and around and shooting all day. This unit has an impressive sleek look, it's lightweight, portable and feels well made. This unit is only a charging case and storage case with the benefits of a digital display. It charges more quickly than my other Nikon branded single battery charger, allowing me to fast charge with PD3.0 & QC3.0, 1 or 2 batteries simultaneously. While a USB-c cable is included, you need to connect your own external power to supply this unit. I am using a fast USB-C charger, or I can use a portable power bank charger, or car charger if I so need it. If at home, I can plug it into any free USB C wall chargers, or in the field I just use a portable power bank, which I always have charged and with me. One of the features I like the most allows you to view each/both battery levels with it's digital display that immediately shows the remaining power in each battery upon insertion and the charging status while in progress. Another feature is that this unit doubles as a storage box. It has slots for two batteries and one SD card with a magnetic closure to keep the batteries safe inside. I am quite happy with this new and important accessory for my photography needs and it's very likely you will be too.

It works well but is BIG! No quick-refresh battery installed or available.
I have had 3 Nikon cameras which use EN-EL15 batteries - D70, D7000 and now Z6 II. The Z6 definitely uses much more power than the earlier D cameras, so I am burning through many more batteries when in the field. A faster, DUAL charger is a great idea. Not bad that I can store batteries in the charger IF I cram it into my portable bag.= Pros:= holds 2 Nikon EN-EL15 batteries= Charges somewhat faster than the newer Nikon MH-25a charger included with the Z6II= Displays battery level on a display - Only available otherwise when a battery is in the camera= Supports high-voltage USB-C charging. The Nikon charger requires AC voltage and power cord= Weight is about the same as the Nikon chargerCons:= Still big, like the Nikon charger - almost the same size.= Has enough room for a couple of LiPo cells to be built-in for portable refresh charging.= Requires a separate USB-C HV power source. This is OK when at home, but when traveling, I have to share my high voltage charger between my phone, tablet, watch and now this charger.Bottom line:I like it but am not sure yet. It'll fit in my suitcase well enough but is too large for daily carry. The Z6 II now has live-use USB-C charging built in for the newer EN-EL15C batteries. - just 1 at a time.I'll update later if I have any change of experience or opinion.
