My stats first: 5'2" 105lbs (30B/24/33), size SFirst off, this is a COAT DRESS, not just a dress, so the way it fastens down the front may not quite be what you expect (or maybe it will be since you'll pay more attention than I did when I bought it). Regardless, it is very cute and stylish. The fabric looks luxe without being "too much." The length hit me slightly above the knee. The waist fits a bit looser than I'd prefer, but it's not a huge deal. The neck and shoulders fit nicely, which is sometimes a problem area for me with clothes, as that area can get baggy or frumpy looking. Because this item snaps closed like a coat down the front of the skirt, you definitely need tights, leggings, a slip, or something else underneath, otherwise you could end up revealing a lot more business than you may want to. Still, I think it's cute and worth it.

Love it! - So glad I took the gamble and got this velvet A-line swing coat, which I plan to use as an office dress during cold spells and winter climes, or special/formal events. The reviews nearly steered me away noting its small fit. Depending on the cut and manufacturer, I normally wear about a size 10, but this XL had just a little room for a bit of give. The fabric is heavyweight, with a luxurious harlequin quilt countour, and satin lined -- although the velvet shell also has a tendency to show and attract lighter-colored lint, hair, and dust. The pockets are a plus and deep - - no faux ones here. The buttons may need some reinforcing. The front lower portion along the skirt area, leaves about a foot and a half gap/open slit that could use an additional snap button to deter inadvertent peek-a-boos -- which is easily remedied, thanks to basic sewing skills from Home Economics class. It's an elegant design that won't go out of style. This one's a winner, in my book. Wish this company will make this in other colors (e.g. burgundy, purple, dark green, etc.) and plus sizes.

It fit as expected. I knew they didn’t have size 14 so I ordered the 12 american size or 3X chinese size. Im normally a size 12 or 14 in button down shirts, so i went for the largest size they had. My measurements are Bust: 45”, Waist: 37”, Hips: 42”. I knew it would fit a bit snug from my bust area like all of my shirts do since I have 36DD breast size, but honestly this was the perfect size for me since i have skinny arms. Anything bigger than a 12 would’ve made me look huge on my shoulders and arms. I was a bit hesitant of the chart size on the picture on the left, but I knew I was a size 12 in US size so I went for it and bought it since there’s free returns if the size does not fit. I really like this dress, its warm, soft and elegant! Lovely pattern and design. The only bad thing would be the acidic smell to it but overall its a really cute holiday formal dress 😊 Really satisfied with my purchase.By the way it got delievered in 2 days. I ordered it on a sunday and it arrived on tuesday, 1 day earlier than expected. ☺️

SO CUTE AND STYLISH! Soft, velvet fabric, buttons are very nice - don’t seem cheap either. As some reviews mentioned before, this is a COAT, gold buttons on half top then 2 “snap buttons on lower half. Dress “poofs” out on its own.For reference, I am 5’4” and 115 lbs, slim body type:It’s slightly tight on my arms and shoulders, not unbearable but enough that I should have ordered a size up to accommodate that. My chest is small, so tightness in the arms and shoulders didn’t bother me there. The sleeves slightly go up when I bend my arms - from the base of my hand to expose a bit of wrist - which is fine, still looks cute. Kind of nervous to wash - so pay attention to wash details or order a size up. The length falls to a bit above my knee (which I like!). Pockets are real, and very nice to have. I love the collar! Overall super cute dress, you will definitely get lots of compliments.

I ordered a large based on the bust measurements, even though my waste is smaller and I'm glad that I did. The large fits perfectly. I agree that the buttons are kind of chintzy, but they honestly look cute. I had planned to replace them when the dress/coat arrived, but I think that I will wait a while. I didn't realize that the slit continues all the way down the front, so this truly is a coat. However, I do think that I will wear it as a dress sometimes with bicycle shorts underneath and maybe tights, because it is cute as a dress as well.

This is a coat and lacks the cords or wales associated with corduroy. The front has a split held together with buttons on top and snaps below. You'll definitely want to wear something underneath because it's not a corduroy cocktail dress it's a coat. The color looks great in the light, the fabric has a puffy diamond texture to it, and is the right weight for a fall or spring coat (not a cocktail dress).The overall quality seems very good. My biggest complaint though is that the listing said it was a corduroy cocktail dress and it isn't. Also the Asian sizing is a little weird but size 8 was indeed US size 8 in spite of also being called XL.
