DBSR100 Duraboot Steering Rack Boot Range

Managed to use this on an Audi TT (03) without having to take the balljoint off. Utter miracle!Granted the rack (inner) was a tight fit and took some "persuasion", but for the £££ it saved me having to re-do the tracking - well worth it.Got a spare, but the rate at which I go through them I might stock up! But will see how the quality fairs on these as they also look more durable that the plastic factor parts.Thank you SO much Bailcast

Took a chance on these as the price was low but does not fit a steering rack with a cross linking pipe. Will keep though as they are good for conventional racks.

Would NOT recommend. I required using this with the smallest diameters without trimming and could not get it over the track rod end. The boot ended up splitting! I took the application cone off and tried again which I had better luck with but gave up after several failed attempts to get the steering rack end on.Ended up taking the track rod end off and fitting an old boot the normal way. Now I need to get my tracking tweaked.False economy... don't bother.

I needed to replace the near side steering rack boot on my 306 but needed an extra stretchy one to help clear the power steering ram stud.I’d already tried a kit I bought from euro car parts but after letting it sit in boiling water for 10 minutes it still was not flexible enough to clear the stud.This set can be trimmed down to size, still reasonably thick as not to break apart after a few months, and stretchy enough to clear the stud! Which was the most important thing!!

Good fit time will tell on longevity but just the job for me 👍
