Osmo 3062C 0.75 Litre Polyx Hard Wax Oil in Clear Matt
I recently had the pleasure of using the Osmo 3062C 0.75 Litre Polyx Hard Wax Oil in Clear Matt. First and foremost, the application was an absolute breeze. The consistency of the wax oil is perfect, making it easy to apply evenly on the surface. Whether you're a seasoned DIY enthusiast or a first-timer, you'll find this product incredibly user-friendly. One of the standout features for me is the clear matt finish. It truly lives up to its name, leaving the wood with a beautifully natural and matte appearance. What's remarkable is that it doesn't alter the original colour of the wood – it simply enhances and protects it. The result is a gorgeous, authentic look that complements the wood's natural beauty. I've tried various wood finishes in the past, but Osmo's Polyx Hard Wax Oil has become my go-to choice. The clear matt option is ideal for those who want to maintain the wood's original colour while providing long-lasting protection. The durability is impressive, and it stands up well to daily wear and tear. In conclusion, if you're in search of a top-notch wood finish that's easy to apply, enhances the natural beauty of the wood without altering its color, and provides excellent protection, look no further than the Osmo 3062C 0.75 Litre Polyx Hard Wax Oil in Clear Matt. It's a recommended product that will undoubtedly elevate your woodworking projects to a whole new level.

Superb wood oil, simple to apply.
Superb oil for pine staircase handrail. Goes on in seconds and 2 coats gave a lovely sheen. So easy to apply and first class technical support from the UK manufacturer.

Spreads well small 125ml pot cover 12m of skirting x 2 enough left for at least three more coats
This review is for amatures like me not professionals. The stuff is like soft jelly so its difficult to get it out of the tin directly depending on what method of application you are using. The traditional method is apparently to use lint free cloths but I watched a youtube video on applying it by a professional who used brush, lint free cloths and finally a non-scratch foam sponge (like a non-scratch pan cleaning sponge usually green or yellow but only about 5 to 10 mm thick and about 150 x 80 mm area. The ones I had were white I got them from Wicks but apparently the video Youtube used 3M ones. The Youtube video said that this was the best method of application as it spread the oil thinly and any minor nubs (protrusions on the smooth surface) were rubbed away but because it was non-scratch it didn't damage the wood surface. I did two coats in one day fairly easily (it was just skirting board about 12.5 m worth x 125 high) I did find it difficult to get those non-scratch pads into the small tin opening. Possibly I should have used a bowl or container to empty some oil out into and get to it more easily that way. I definately should have double checked the skirting board as I found a rough (not smoothly sanded patch) part of the way around and had to stop and wait for it all to dry before sanding it down smooth and starting again at that previously rough patch. Youtube video said to use latex or similar gloves because the oil is sticky and messy. I used the gloves and didn't have too much trouble. I threw away the non-abrasive pads after two applications had used up most of the area but I think I could have cleaned them up if I'd wanted to and used them again. White spirit acts as the cleaning solvent.

Pretty good, but only apply thin coats!
Spent many weekends tirelessly laying my hardwood floor and applied this hardwax oil to cure overnight. It was a total disaster! Left a horrible patchy grey uneven finish. After lots of reading found I'd applied it on too thick. The instructions do say a "thin layer". My advice is to wipe down the surface afterwards! It really does mean a thin layer. After hours of scotchbright scrubbing and a little extra oil to try soften what was already applied and a lot of elbow grease it did turn out okay in the end. After being applied properly the finish is pretty tough. It did make the wood darker than I expected but shows the grain really well and looks great. Bit slippy in socks! Overall I'm very pleased, just wish I'd read the instructions better.

Beautiful Matt floor.
I love my newly oiled kitchen floor! This product is amazing and so easy to apply. I wanted a really Matt look and having read all the reviews on here I am so pleased I didn't use the other available brands as it is fantastic. Worth waiting the week for delivery. It does smell a bit. I've been away 2 days and got home to a lovely waft of the oil even though I ventilated the house well when applying. Who cares about the smell when the floor is so delicious to look at! It is only 3 days since application so I'm sure the smell will go but its not unpleasant. I have spilt water on the floor today and it just lay there without penetrating the floor. My kitchen floor (excluding the kitchen units) is 4.5 by 2meters. I was worried a small 0.75litre tin would run out half way through. I applied 2 coats and used 2 thirds of the tin so have enough for another application in the future - good value for money. I applied using the Osmo brush 50mm. Ok for the job but I'm sure other brushes that do not lose their bristles would be equally as effective. Delivery wise the tin came very well packaged and arrived within the specified delivery time.

The picture is misleading as it shows a pail. You only receive .75 of a litre which I know it says. But still misleading. Also the Osmo I received was thick and lumpy on the bottom. As hard as I tried I could not mix it in. The other issue turned out to be the return policy that would cost because of international borders. Canada/USA. Was not in my interest to send back so a absorbed the loss.

柔らかく塗りやすい。 ログハウスの玄関の木材と、無垢の床材(パイン)に塗りましたが、乾くとサラッとした感触で肌触りもよく、撥水性もあります。
