This really works

I ordered this lamp primarily to take to Scotland with me when I went camping, I liked the fact that it was compact and lightweight, and having been camping previously when those tiny black flies descended on my camp, I wanted to be prepared.When it arrived I wad pleased to see that it is as compact as I had hoped, possibly even slightly smaller, it is also very bright so will act as a light source as well as an Insect dispatcher.I have had a bit of trouble giving it the test I would have liked to, as it arrived just as the weather turned colder I didn't see a single fly on my latest camping excursion, so I can confirm that it works well as a light source, it charges fairly quickly, and lasts well between charges, and it feels sturdy and durable, but I can't tell yet how it acts as an Insect killer.I also haven't, and probably won't be using the mosquito repellents that are provided as I'm not sure how safe they would be in a confined space like a tent.The light itself is mostly very impressive, the only niggles I've found are that the buttons are a bit stiff and quite small so they do need a good push, I also didn't recieve the storage case, so I've had to use a similar sized case that I already owned.Overall I certainly would recommend this product to anyone exploring the great outdoors, especially in scotland where the bugs can be a bit ferocious if you let them, its lightweight, compact, and appears to work well, and a very handy piece of kit to pack in your rucksack.

This functions both as a lantern and a mosquito repellent device.The lantern element is pretty good. It is robust ,waterproof, and the maximum brightness is very bright. In can be mounted onto the included tripod, hung, or stuck up magnetically, and the magnet is very strong.The mosquito repelling element involves heating up the lantern and inserting some repellent tabs into the cavity at the top to release some vapour. The kit comes with 6 tabs, and 2 are used at a time. I can't find anywhere in the listing or in the box/instructions that describes what chemicals/products are in the tablets, so I am not willing to use them in case they are not safe for me to breathe.
