Well received and lovely. But not pure red as photo implies
Not yet planted but came quickly with a free complimentary pack of other seeds. Very generous gesture. Look forward to seeing them grow. And most of all lovely presentation packet to be added to mother's day goodies. I'm sure she will love them. Let's hope they grow!!! Now the season is over they were beautiful. From one plant I had about 5 heads. And grew over 8ft tall. need some support . Used 3 bamboo canes. Warning. Need lots of H20 with climate change and hotter summers. Also fed everyweek. Plenty of seeds left. Upgraded my review to 5stars. As thought they were lovely. Just be warned they are not true red. More like dailies with hints of red and Orange.

Sunflower seeds.
Produces very yummy plants apparently... All the seeds that we planted, sprouted and were growing well. Unfortunately for us, Snails thought they made a lovely dinner and we woke up one morning to find them all munched up to the bottom of the stem. Bit too late in the season for us to plant more now but still have some seeds left to try again next year.

Red.....Don’t think so!
Great success with these seeds, high percentage of germination, healthy and huge plants. Unfortunately they are not red! Giant?.....About the same size as a Dahlia bloom so hardly “Giant!” Apparently they turn red with time? Also with sunshine too? Apparently it’s Amazons fault regarding the negative feedback regarding the difference in colour and supplier! Communication with seller no help to whether I had been sent the wrong seeds. Seller has asked me to post a photo of the plants.....Judge for yourselves regarding colour!

Easy to grow from seed if u follow instructions 'put in very warm bright place for least aweek '
Grows fast if u follow instructions only draw back as they do grow fast it can be arkward to plant time will tell if this hinders next stage of growth as they sort of flopped abit on planting

Unusual red sunflowers have grown quickly
I was watching Little Shop of Horrors recently. I liked the scene when Seymour goes into the Chinese plant store and there is a total eclipse of the sun and when it is over he sees a strange and unusual plant. Now I really like strange and unusual plants and these Chinese red sunflowers fit this category perfectly. They did take quite a while to arrive but when they did I planted the seeds straight away in some compost in the greenhouse and a couple of days later they started to pop up. In fact they ALL popped up. All 82 of them (I counted). This gave me a dilemma as they quickly outgrew the pots that I put them in and I had to re-pot them after a week and some of them were tangled together so I had to pull them apart. They are now in larger pots and I am quickly running out of space in my greenhouse. I will soon put them out and I anticipate there is nothing I can do to stop their propagation. I literally can't wait to see them in full bloom as I will be the envy of the neighbourhood as the only person on the street with red sunflowers. Lots of them. I did cut my finger the other day and I could have sworn that one of them twitched. But then I might have imagined it.

Defiantly do it! Strong little seeds are shooting up in under a week
I received them a week early! They were due yesterday and they are already about 3-5" I can see red all up the stalk! ☺ I can't wait to see how they end up 😊 Really happy with them already although some are a bit floppy but I think that's probably my fault 🙃 I have a feeling they are going to look amazing! I'm giving some of them to some friends kids to grow over this lockdown spring/summer.. great for the little ones to watch and look after and tbh I'm looking forward to it myself! Thanks very much for the fast delivery I'll be looking at some more of your seeds 🤗 cheers!

Viable seeds
Great germination rate, 100% have spouted, only time will tell if they are red Update, not giant and not red, more like yellow in the middle graduating to red at the tips of the petals, everyone comments on them as they are really pretty, despite not being as picture on the packet I'll stay with 5 stars as I do like them
