Firstly our mistake, we thought this was a 'design / create' your own fashion kit, not one that contained ready assembled pieces. That aside, there is more than enough selection in here to keep any 'young princess' and her 'maids in waiting' happy for hours.The rings have a generic metal band, which allows for easy resizing, unlike so many cheaper versions, that have plastic bands, and either fall off or are too tight for little fingers.The necklaces, are a good length, have a good amount of elasticity, although there is no 'breakaway' point, to prevent strangulation, something that we would have expected to see.The bracelets on the other hand, are a little on the small size, and lack any real aforementioned elasticity, its there, just not as much.The hair clips are all metal with fabric based designs, and again, a little on the small size, but as this is a fashion toy, that is to be expected.Finally the jewellery box expands to allow access to each level, and has little fold out mirror, which at first, we thought was a little gimmicky, as it was very dull, until we discovered that it has a plastic film which needs to be removed.We liked the fact that the hinges are screwed into place, and not simply stuck on, again like many cheaper versions, which should mean that this one will last a while if treated properly.Overall quality wise, its what you would expect at this price point, OK, some of the finishes on the necklace and rings could have been better, but we doubt that any young lady is really going to find the same faults.Having gone through a number of these 'jewellery sets' over the years, we know from experience that on more than one occasion, we have found bits detached right from the start due to poor packaging and design of the product, and can happily say, that is not the case with the Golmud Jewellery set, everything was as it was meant to be.
