Beautiful looking + makes fantastic coffee
I discovered the Espro when visiting a friend's home and ordered both the 18oz and 32oz so I have different options depending on how many are having coffee. I love the elegant clean lines of this press, it looks really attractive. The double filter works well and the insulation keeps the coffee hot for an hour and warm for longer. As the outside doesn't get hot and the base is really steady it's easy to use. Also, really simple to clean. Love it!

Congratulations Espro, this is a great product!
Have always loved press pot coffee but got fed up with those nasty meshes, not to mention the grit towards the later stages of the pot. Been pondering a P7 purchase for some time and now delighted we finally took the plunge so to speak. Providing you preheat the vessel (just like you would a flask) the coffee stays hot a good couple of hours and more. Coffee super smooth and still full bodied but with no grit, just as advertised. It's a bit of extra effort cleaning up than a standard french press but not much and definitely worth it. I wouldn't mind picking up a medium P5 (the glass one) for use during the week when I'm happy for the coffee to cool down quicker. Congratulations Espro, this is a great product!

Superb quality French Press
Took forever to come, over a month from the order date but it has been well worth it. Best French Press I have ever owned. Filtering system is excellent, clear coffee and keeps the coffee hot for ages. Easy to clean. Very happy. Update, also excellent for cold brew coffee. Comes out crystal clear.

No leaking and no particals
You get a complete filtered coffee and it is so great the only drawback is the price factor to this

Noticeably smoother coffee
Noticeably smoother coffee from the double filtration system. All parts dishwasher washable. Insulation is great - keeps coffee passably warm for 2-3 hours

This has terribly poor heat insulation
When this cafetiere arrived it looked nice but it had appallingly bad heat insulation. The outside and top got very hot and the thing leaked heat almost as quickly as a cafetiere made from glass. It is not suitable for those who want a cafetiere that will keep coffee hot for even half an hour, and for that reason it would be better in my opinion if it were retailed at about a fifth of this price.

Might be healthier, but definitely a loss of taste
I bought this after reading a a CNN article that referenced a Swedish study which showed higher death rates amongst those who drank unfiltered coffee (with cafetiere coffee being considered unfiltered). I don't usually panic about these things but I thought, "why not get one,it's expensive at £130, but it'll last forever and might be healthier." Well unfortunately by filtering out almost every little particle and seemingly more of the oils from the coffee grounds, there was an immediately noticeable decline in taste versus the cheap glass one that it replaced (which broke while washing it). All we were really left with was a bitter water in place of the smooth, tasty coffee that we had the day before. We will try other beans to see if they fare better, but it seems undeniable to me that you lose something with the "micro filter" of this press. The fact that it costs so much while giving this result loses it another star
