This kit has already been there to save me
I've used the kit several times already in the short amount of time that I've had it. The bits and taps work perfectly, along with the rest of the kit. Easy way to repair stripped threads. I've used them in steel and aluminum without issue.

You get what you pay for
There's a reason why a single set of one size of Helicoil cost more than this entire set. It's because it actually works. Every single Helicoil and the kit broke not to mention the tools that came with it

Review from experience maintenance mechanic
15+ years experience in maintenanceDo not but for anything other than 1 time use!It doesn't come with the tool needed for the tap, the tools used to insert and break off the Tang or a very poor quality and I could only use for two inserts.I was very concerned using the tap with the quality of it and anything more than aluminum. I could watch it twist as it was trying to cut new threads, the last thing you want to do is break off a tap while you're trying to rethread something.I would recommend just buying from a really quality Source like OTC unless you're just in need of a variety for some very soft metals like chineseium or aluminum
