ESV Gift and Award Bible (Trutone, Burgundy)

The Bible has a nice looking and soft leather cover. The pages are a bit stiff, but I expect them to fall open easily after they are broken in. The print is on the smaller side, but that is the price you pay for a smaller Bible that can be carried about easily. The ESV is among my favorite translations. This particular Bible has some helpful lists and notes before and after the books.

I found this bible to be is a step above a basic bible with its thick imitation leather cover, white paper, and crisp printing. It arrives in a slipcase that protects it and makes it look more expensive than it actually is.I do like the thick cover and sewn binding because I think they will help the bible to last longer, even when heavily used. The pages are a thicker white paper that makes reading the black type easier on the eyes.The type is a very small 7-point so it might not be the best choice for everyone. However the black type is crisp and clear. I have no trouble reading it.I like the first page where I can record who the bible is being presented to, by whom, and when. This will make a great gift for a communion or a confirmation.There are a lot of extra features such as a very detailed table of contents, a one year bible reading plan, some history of the bible, and a quick summary of each book that made it easy to find the book I was looking for. The translation is easy to understand.

This bible is a great value. I got it for my grandson so it would be easier for him to understand but the print is so small it makes it hard to read.

This is a good quality Bible that would be a great gift for anyone on the younger side (maybe 50 or younger). I say that because the print is a bit small and might be difficult for anyone with vision issues that tend to happen with age.There is a reading plan, a short synopsis of each of the individual books, a few pages about God's plan for salvation, etc. It is not a study Bible and does not have commentary throughout, but is still very good for reading.

I have my great grandma's family Bible but I wanted one that I could make notations in and highlight certain passages. Basically, my own personal Bible. This came with a cardboard slipcover to protect the Bible. The Bible itself has a classic faux leather design with gold printing. My cover had a few dents and one of the corners was bent slightly but nothing major. The quality of the paper is thicker than a lot of Bibles and the black print really stands out. The print is still very small but I did find it easier to read than my other Bible. This would make a nice gift for anyone celebrating a religious milestone. I feel this is fairly priced and I look forward to reading it again and again.
