I had 40 metres of block paving pathway and patio in the rear garden that required constant weeding. My wife and I power washed the area, applied kiln dry sand and then applied two coats of smart seal to the surface. Very pleased with the results. The sand has hardened remarkably and this should prevent weed growth going forward. Six weeks after there is not the slightest sign of a weed but further time will tell.

Really pleased with the finish after I changed from roller to sprayer much better to use and give a great finish.

It as supposed to be a Matt finish but it has a real sheen to it, I’m not disappointed though as it looks really nice. I Sprayed the first coat then brushed and rollered the 2nd which used much less (5ltrs less)Good product and the guy who cleaned my drive said it was the best he used. Wear a mask when using as it grabs your breath !

Easy to apply, but look at the videos first for sound advice.It rained the day after first coat, the water did not penetrate the blocks or sand and ran straight into the drains.

So far so good, the kiln sand has gone rock hard, it's only been done a few days so time will tell. It was very difficult not to drag the ssnd out of the joints so in areas there is some sand which has set on the block. Also it does give your blocks a permanent wet look.

I prepared fully , following the instructions, during the lockdown! The results are great. I would highly recommend this product.

Didn’t go very far when using a roller to apply. Will try a sprayer next time

After completing one coat, the infill sand has stabilized and the block face is now a very acceptable deeper tone.
