with the DVD player running it' s maximum wattage is 25 watts per hour. We never watch DVD's boondock camping. Very little daytime TV. Most use in the evenings before bed. I have a 50 watt solar panel that produces more than enough energy to replace what this TV pulls off the batteries daily. Audio and video qualities are excellent Being designed for RV use bouncing up and down traveling down the highway does it no harm. Replaced the TV that came with the camper that was 120VAC. We had to plug in or run the generator to watch TV. This is 12 VDC. Can watch it anytime.

This is a perfect tv for a semi, rv, or small room. It comes with the built in dvd player and the remote. (The remote takes 2 AAA batteries.) As other comments mention, the sound is almost non existent. We can hear it with the truck running but it's at the maximum volume. (I have better than average hearing and it's a bit low even for me.) The picture quality is decent. We have only been watching dvds so I don't know how great or not great the quality for regular tv is. Overall not a bad little tv.

Received the TV today. Purchased for inclusion in travel trailer, the old CRT TV gave up the ghost.PROS: Everything works well but I am old and may not be able to hear it, very low volume but will add a pair of computer speakers to increase volume. DVD, digital photo album and music work well.CONS: I like digital movies on a thumb drive or SD card. I could not get it to play digital movies in any format: MP4, AVI, MWV using USB or SD card slots, had to resort to Media Player through HDMI to get them to work. Would have been nice not to need the additional peace's of equipment (WD TV and Computer speakers (I may use Bluetooth transmitter and wireless head phone instead) but it does work.Overall a good product for the price but a small TV may have worked as well but I will not send this one back, 6 one way half dozen the other.Just wanted to warn us techies that digital Movie won't work on USB or SD Card.

I use this in a pop up camper for rainy days. It is easy to see from most angles which I've read can be an issue with these smaller tb's , I bought the 22 inch. The sound is just ok with regular tv but awful with the DVD, I had to hook up an external speaker and OMG the SoundBot is excellent for this !

For a cheap 12v capable tv this works good! Use it in our camper. The bad is it doesn't get very loud for sound. We solved this issue by using a wireless speaker box attached to tv with aux cable (tv has a headphone jack). With the external speaker box we can watch movies and shows with MUCH louder volume and the tv remote still controls the volume

Thickness and picture quality are perfect. Unfortunately, I also require a better sound. Very low quality of sound. No volume no matter the setting you change it to. Very disappointing.

So far so good.

They need to work on better sound when playing a DVD!!!
