This is my third lava me guitar, but this one really exceeded my expectations. Like the previous lava me guitars, the lava me air maintains its excellent built quality and lightweight design that I've come to love from this brand. What sets this model apart is that it's noticeably slimmer, making it perfect for long jam sessions. The acoustic sound remains outstanding. The built-in effects are a fantastic bonus. I really like the convenience of turning on the sound effects by just pressing down the knob, I would say it’s a simple improvement from the lava me 3 but brings tremendous convenience. The knob also lights up with different colors corresponding to each sound effect, making it easier to select and switch between them. The end of the neck also lights up along with the knob, which looks really cool. The only thing I wish to have on this guitar is the looping feature from my Lava Me 3. But even without it, the lava me air feels like the future of guitars. If you're considering an upgrade or looking for a versatile, high-quality instrument, this is it. Highly recommend!

I have been playing electro acoustic guitars for about 30 years, I bought the Lava Me Air because of the amazing YouTube reviews, which sounded really good! The guitar was almost unplayable out of the box and the pick up system sounded terrible!. As a result of my experience I left a very negative review! However, much to my surprise Lava Music reached out to me to see if they could resolve my issues! They did a service upgrade providing me with a replacement, the Lava Me 4 Spruce. This was a completely different experience! With some minor tweaks to the action it plays very nicely, sounds warm and rich and is a beautifully finished guitar. Even without the effects turned on, this guitar sounds and performs very well. Compared to other acoustics on the market of a similar price, the guitar is well worth its price, you will not be disappointed!

Too bad the parts are cheap including tuners that break. The electronics that make the effects work broke. No effects. I bought the pro but it doesn't matter. All the same inferior parts. Don't do it.

What a fun little guitar! I was skeptical because of the price point, but went ahead and got one. Once it came in, I made some adjustments and had it playing really nice within a few minutes. Just to note, it has a truss rod! The effects were pretty impressive. It’s very lite due to the carbon fiber body. It included a tuner and other accessories as well. It looks like I will have to buy another one, as my son has taken this one and refuses to give it back. Will probably go with the newer smart one this time. Lots of fun!

Really twangy guitar. I sent it back

I wanted the full touchscreen experience but for me the price was too steep so I bought the AIR version. The sound is amazing and the build is solid. Two things you want to do once you get this guitar. Replace the strings with a reputable brand and adjust the string action for the clearest sound. Because I found that the maker doesn't explain string replacement well, they can be pulled out and fed through the bottom of the bridge pretty easily when replacing. This is the one guitar I can travel with and because its thin and small I can sit back on the couch and play it with comfort. I have a few guitars and while they sound great I can't say they're comfortable. This one is. Don't count much on the app with this brand. Its probably only good for software updates and thats about it. I think the app was meant mainly for units with touch screens.

A nice basic mahogany dreadnaught. Very rich sound and excellent playability. Reminds me of a Johnson 'Red Cliffs' that I owned fifteen years ago only much better action. Negatively, the rosette and logo on body are rather cheap looking but the wood itself is beautiful. I am totally pleased with this purchase.

Madly in love With a guitar. Yes she’s small. Doesn’t look like a big rugged boy but for such a little girl, she has a very powerful voice. The presets are a dream very easy to use. The guitar is lightweight, which means I can carry all my other instruments like my flutes and my drums, etc. Big is definitely not better even though it’s more macho …this guitar is more feminine so for those big boys guitar players the small, compact size may be a turn off. I live in Arizona where it’s very dry hot heat, and I do not have to keep it carbon fiber guitar humidified. Just one more thing to do instead of spend the extra time practicing. Those inserts humidify the guitar, which has to be kept in a close guitar case. It was a bit of a hassle. The inserts requires distilled water and it has to be replenished every week. With this guitar, I can keep it on a guitar stand reach out for it anytime I choose to practice. One less chore to have to do. I am on cloud nine

I researched this guitar and decided to press the button and get one. I own a collection of guitars and decided to try the Smart Guitar. Out of the box a quick tune and several hours later I’m happy with my purchase. Excellent build in spruce but more importantly it outputs a fantastic acoustic tone. The adjustable effects make this guitar. No regrets purchasing this guitar

Since receiving this one my other guitars have been highly neglected. Holds it's tune pretty good. Really it's just the strings warming up that throw it out of tune a little. App is a little flakey and I keep having to delete my guitar then require it. But really, unless your a tweaker, one kind of sets it and forgets it. Sound is pretty cool and you can't tell it's just a speaker. Just sounds like your guitar has reverb, etc. Really feels good holding and playing it. For a singer strummer, it's great. This is my only camping guitar now. Speaking of camping, I wish the case wasn't white. Good quality, small enough to pack with all the stuff in the truck, but it's white. Not for long though I'm sure.

op zich een heel leuke en mooie gitaar waar de zoon veel plezier aan beleeft. Alleen jammer dat de snaren onmiddellijk gesprongen zijn. Deze zijn helemaal niet van kwaliteit! Na contactname met de klantendienst, boden zij ook niet echt een oplossing aan. De klantendienst van Amazon is hier echter wel in tegemoet gekomen, waarvoor mijn dank!

Ich fand das LAVA ME Design derer Gitarren eigentlich schon immer irgendwie toll, modern, futuristisch... Darum kaufte ich mir vor 2 Jahren eine LAVA ME 4, erst die weisse, dann die mit Fichtendecke. Leider gefiel mir das System mit dem Touchscreen nicht so sehr, war mir etwas zu umständlich und die Qualität des Materials und der damit verbundene Klang gefiel mir auch nicht so. Nun sah ich durch Zufall erste Reviews der LAVA ME Air auf YouTube, wusste bis dato nicht das so ein Modell kommen sollte. Tja und was soll ich sagen, es sah toll aus und hatte fast alles was ich mir von einer LAVA ME gewünscht hatte. Eine silberne und schwarze Version, ein flaches Design das super angenehm ist und man denkt man würde eine E-Gitarre halten, Effekte einfach per Knopfdruck und die gleiche Handlichkeit wie von den anderen LAVA ME Modellen gewohnt. Nun habe ich sie selbst hier und bin überglücklich. Habe mir die silberne Version gekauft, wunderschön. Die Spielbarkeit ist klasse, habe zwar die Saiten direkt auf etwas weichere und komfortablere gewechselt um meine Fingerkuppen zu schonen da die die aufgezogen schon sehr hart sind, aber das wäre auch so mein einziger persönlicher mini kleiner Kritikpunkt an dieser Gitarre. Ansonsten lässt sie sich klasse spielen, die Saitenlage ist für mich Top, könnte vielleicht noch einen kleinen Tuck niedriger sein um es perfekt zu machen, aber es ist schon ganz ok so für mein Empfinden. Sowas empfindet ja jeder Gitarrenspieler etwas anders. Der Sound der Gitarre, ist ja auch immer subjektiv, sieht jeder anders, aber mir gefällt er. Durch das verwendete Material, Karbonfaser, ist der Klang finde ich sehr ausgewogen. Finde den Bass Sound sehr gelungen, man merkt sofort das sie die tiefen Töne gut wiedergeben kann aber auch die hohen Saiten klingen toll. Sie ist nicht sehr laut, das kann sie auch nicht sein bei diesem kleinen Körper den sie hat, aber selbst dafür reicht es mir persönlich vollkommen aus. Es sollte jedem klar sein das man keinen Klang einer grossen Westerngitarre etc. erwarten kann. Die silberne Farbe... ich habe mich in sie verliebt. Bin eh ein silber Fan, habe alle meine Apple Geräte in silber etc. und da passt sie perfekt in meine Umgebung :) Aber ist natürlich auch immer alles Geschmackssache. Auch die schwarze finde ich superschön, war ne schwere Entscheidung. Aber habe aufgrund der YouTube Reviews dann doch die silberne genommen weil genau wie ich es erwartet hatte sah man auf den schwarzen getesteten Modellen sofort die Fingerabdrücke, Fettfinger oder wie man das auch nennen mag sehr stark. Habe extra drauf geachtet und manche schwarzen Modelle sahen fürchterlich aus, total vergrabbelt, klar kann man das abwischen aber je mehr man wischt desto mehr Kratzerchen auf der Oberfläche etc etc. Bin da halt etwas pingelig. Die Mechanik zum spannen der Saiten ist natürlich auch bei dem Preis der Gitarre nicht die allerbeste, das muss man einfach sagen. Hab ich auch nicht erwartet. Sie ist ok-gut. Hab keine Probleme damit aber beim Saiten einstellen merkt man es etwas. Die Effekte der Gitarre klingen toll als Unterstützung. Erwartet nicht zu viel, der verbaute Lautsprecher ist nicht sehr gross und kommt eher einem Kinderspielzeug Lautsprecher gleich, also nichts top professionelles. Aber ich glaube das ist auch nicht Ziel und Sinn der Sache. Ich spiele eh meist nur mit Echo oder Reverbs und dafür reicht es vollkommen aus, man hört den Unterschied und den Effekt teils deutlich und klar und es gibt einem das Gefühl in einer etwas grösseren Umgebung zu spielen. Man hat einfach mehr Spass damit so zu spielen. Die leuchtenden Farben des Knopfes sind richtig cool, man weiss genau welchen Effekt man eingestellt hat ohne in die App schauen zu müssen. Klar, man muss sich Farbe und Effekt merken die man auf die jeweilige Farbe angewendet hat in der App, aber das sollte nicht allzu schwer sein :) Was mir aber hier fehlt ist eine Einstellung in der App für die Helligkeit des Knopfes. Bei wenig Licht knallt die Beleuchtung doch schon sehr stark in die Augen da man ja direkt von oben draufguckt. Das wäre super wenn so etwas kommen würde. Ist sicherlich irgendwie möglich. Also alles in allem, Farbe, Material, Gewicht, Spielbarkeit, Effekte, Qualität, Klang.... für mich passt es einfach alles und ganz besonders zu diesem Preis. Man darf nicht vergessen das man das alles für 549 Euro bekommt. Das finde ich schon ziemlich gut. Auch die Verarbeitung ist super, konnte keinen einzigen Fehler feststellen. Alles sauber und ordentlich zusammengebaut. Nichts vibriert, knarzt oder sonst etwas. Ich glaube viel mehr kann man nicht erwarten. Man bekommt sogar noch eine tolle Transporttasche dazu. Auch diese ist Top verarbeitet ! USB C Kabel zum aufladen ist natürlich auch dabei genauso wie ein Schlüssel zum einstellen des Halses. Ja, auch den kann man bei dieser Gitarre einstellen :) Noch ein Wort zum Akku, der hält und hält. Nach einer Ladung, ich habe Stundenlang gespielt, jeden Tag, in 3-4 Wochen habe ich sie nur ein einziges mal aufgeladen ! Einfach nur toll. Ein Top Paket eben für einen bezahlbaren und absolut angemessenen Preis. Ich liebe die AIR und möchte sie nicht mehr missen. DANKE LAVA ME !
